Same old blood rush with a new touch
Just in case you’d forgotten, the new PlayStation 3 Super Slim hits North American store shelves today. The system comes equipped with a 250GB hard drive, a copy of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, a voucher for $30 of DUST 514 digital content, and a free 30 day subscription to PlayStation Plus. Of course, you'll get that sleek new corrugated console too.

Her favorite part is the top tray opening? That's by far the worst part. Of course as cardboard as she seemed reading everything - even with the volume turned way up I could barely hear her - I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that it was just part of the script.

My favorite part - "It looks cheaper, but it is cheaper." Well unless you want to buy it b/c then it costs more.

Yeah, I can't help feeling that it is a cheaper (inferior version) but that they are charging more for it. Why would you want this version rather than a slim?
The only benefit is 500GB.

I don't mind the top loader I just wish it lifted up manually instead of sliding. It just looks/sounds like it will wear out in about a year.

I prefer slot loading myself but honestly, I only swap discs every few days anyways lol. I'll probably pick one of these up for the second tv and my girlfriend. No mo split screen!
To me, the size doesn't really matter since you still can't stack anything on top of it. Still takes up about the same shelf space lol
