It’s a good job Kazuma Kiryu and co are fictional characters, otherwise SEGA would be in big trouble for leaking the Tojo Clan’s plans. An errant listing uncovered by Andriasang appears to hint at the imminent release of a Yakuza HD Collection.

The listing notes that PS2 titles Yakuza and Yakuza 2 will be lavished with the re-release treatment. Seeing as they’re amongst the best titles on the platform (yeah, we went there), this is a motion we can get behind.

The upgraded compilation is pegged for a December release alongside the heavily anticipated Yakuza 5. As with anything Yakuza related, we’ve got our fingers crossed for a Western release.
