Topic: Graphics card equivalent of PS5?

Hey for my 18th birthday i got a pretty decent PC with RTX 2060, AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and 16 GB of RAM. However, in 2 or 3 years once i have saved some money, and the 30 series GPU's become cheaper, i intend to upgrade a bit. I know for sure it's better than PS4, since i run Cyberpunk 2077 in 40-60 FPS on Ultra with no ray tracing on 1080p, while the PS4 version runs between 720 to 1188p (according to Digital Foundry on YT) while looking very bad and on low FPS, but i suspect it's quite a bit weaker than PS5, since it's supposed to last for the better part of the decade.

So which graphic card do you think would equal the power of PS5?

I am thinking 3060Ti should be enough, no?

I am referring to 1080p gaming since i don't care that much about resolution. But i don't exclude the possibility of purchasing a 1440p sometime down the line

@wefweew The two aren’t comparable. You can find a card comparable in pure numbers, but then you’d need a CPU, fast RAM, a crazy SSD etc. The PS5 more than any other Playstation just isn’t really comparable to a standard PC unless you went out of your way just due to the difference in set up and priorities.

@wefweew 3060 Ti should be more than enough on the GPU front for 1080p this gen if you don't need to max your settings (High instead of Ultra presets in general if you want to maintain smooth framerates, I'm thinking). Of course, you'll want to make sure your CPU and whatnot are up to par. If you haven't upgraded to an SSD, that should be another priority, as more and more games are going to want those going into the future. 16GB RAM should be fine.

Not sure how the 2600 will hold up. Worst case scenario is that you might end up needing to upgrade it to a 5600x or something. I'll probably stick with the 3600 for the next few years.
