I currently do not own Killzone 3. I'll probably get it for Christmas. But PSN Store now has the new DLC for the game free for Plus members. What if I download it now... will it be available for when I buy the game later? What if I don't continue to subscribe to Plus (because I'll be offline and not gaming for about 6 months.)
You can download the DLC before you have the game. Once you play the game, it will recognize you have that dlc already installed. I download just about any and all free dlc from the psn whether I have the game or not (just in case they eventually charge for it).
As far as I'm concerned it should work even without PSN+. I don't think that the DLC can be dated to expire like a full game can (since the way the ps3 accesses those files is done differently.)
Don't know for sure, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
