Topic: PS Plus price increase

In the USA this work out at about 3 dollars per month for premium and 1.50 for essential.

Literally just curious as to why everyone is so outraged about this?

I’m not exactly a fan of subscription price increases, and ideally would live in a world where prices don’t go up. Ever. But is $20 a year or whatever even worth getting upset about?

@ArmoredMore It really depends on your specific needs. I only have the base tier due to cloud saves only. I don't play online or download the free games, I only use cloud saves because of work travels and because you cannot back up PS5 saves on USB, only PS4 ones. So paying 72 something € just for this is too much when Steam and Microsoft have cloud saves for free.

@belmont yeah good point but I would say you were already paying quite a lot just for cloud saves, no?

@ArmoredMore Yeah but I always bought the membership in Black Friday and Sony forced me with not allowing save back up via USB in the PS5...
