Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for February 2024?

Great month, finally some games that have persuaded me to upgrade to premium. Can't wait for some Resistance Retribution and Tales of Symphonia.

I’m very happy with it. Tales of Arise is a great game, and I haven’t played any of the DLC for The Outer Worlds so that will be fun to tackle. Also, Resistance Retribution is fantastic, and if it has trophy support I’ll be all over it.

Pretty happy with Extra, especially with recent additions. Finally getting a bit of use and therefore value out of it for this year's cycle with FF7, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart etc, and The Outer Worlds coming soon.

My premium remains basically unused as I just got it to try game streaming and demos, so that will for sure get downgraded. No interest in the 'retro' stuff they add. But that's just me.

And I'll check the expected "horrendous month" comments later for a laugh 🤪

Played Outer Worlds since launch and it's performance has improved a lot. Either mode is pretty much fine now apart from the odd drop.

I'm quickly running out of reasons to not play the Tales games.

Tales of Arise alone made this month a winner for me! And Premium users, don't sleep on Tales of Vesperia!! One of the best JRPGs I ever played!! A gem!!

Outside of The Outer Worlds Extra is trash to me this month. Premium is pretty solid with Resistance and Jet Moto 2.

I'm just confused why Ubisoft pulled Valhalla just to put it back in later. Oh and dump Anno 1800 in there Ubi.

AC Valhalla, Outer Worlds and Lego JP are all terrific games that I bought years ago. But Tales of Arise was one that as soon as I saw it, I thought "That's one that I'll wait to show up on PS+". and here we finally are. Patience pays off.

Nothing for me this month and it's my 2nd month subbed I haven't been for about 4 years, got a PS5 for Christmas but I've been happy looking at the PS4 games list it's got quite a lot of game I didn't buy years ago I'm playing. Ghost of T is my next game though and I can't believe I actually found one of my all time PSP games Key of Heaven on it as well

All I wish for is an online only package, like Nintendo do. No games or any extras, just the online service for a cheaper price. Really want to play helldivers 2.. but a sub + game would be $120, just can't justify it for someone who doesn't play that much. Will probably end up buying for pc.

What a great lineup!! I've been wanting to play Outer Worlds forever now and I'll finally jump into it. I'm drowning in games to play right now!!!!

Wanted to try Unbound since release. That’s great. I already own Outer Worlds Spacer Choice Edition and I highly recommend it.

I'll have a go on NFS as it's been a while since I played one. I enjoyed the opening of Tales of Arise and finished the game absolutely hating it, I've never quite soured on a game like that before.

Yeah, some great titles for my tastes.
I rarely have complaints, Im on premium and happy what I get each month.
Resistance this month is a big treat, and theres a couple of 'tales' titles I never got around to picking up, so im well covered.

I'd like to say that i was happy, but these games aren't free on P.S Plus yet. at what date this month will i be able to add them to my Library?

It's not a bad group of games but for several months now we've only seen bargain-bin titles. Kinda feeling the sting after buying 5 years in advance.

Got all the Tales games. Would like to play Resistance PSP again. But so packed ATM with new releases.

Should of included Berseria which is one of my favorite. Hopefully if Sony gets its ps2 emulator working they can put Tales From The Abyss on the service.

With the addition of RESISTANCE: Retribution Sony will finally be getting me to upgrade to Premium. Been looking forward to this for a long time. Plus Jet Moto 2 is a nice addition as well. I’m not a big fan of racing games but for some reason I always really enjoyed the Jet Moto series

To be fair, Tales of Vesperia had never been on Playstation outside of Japan until the remaster and this particular version (with many changes including two extra party members) had never been outside of Japan at all. Symphonia was on PS2, though only in Japan, but then it was also released on PS3 in that double pack with the sequel. Not to mention the remaster is generally seen as a downgrade.

Both quantity and quality has been slipping since the price increase imo.

Very happy to finally get to play Tales of Arise…never played Vesperia before…will have to down tools on both of them when FF7 Rebirth arrives in 12 sleeps time Kupo

Having grown up quite poor during the ps1 era of gaming, ps premium has been an amazing oppertunity for me to experience alot ofntitles i missed out on. Or relive some nostalgia, like jet moto 1 and 2. Those games were what high speed wtf games are all about. Jank and fun as hell.

Did they ever fix the outer worlds?

Objectively a strong month but sadly i've played everything I wanted to play on the list

So long as they keep adding games that are several years old and their streaming quality is bad, I’ll be sticking with essential. Games that I want to play I buy when they release, not wait two years. I cancelled my premium sub the moment I realized how badly Sonys backend streaming still is, as infamous 2 barely loads on a 3gb per second wired connection.

I’m very confused by how barebones this still is.

Pretty bad list, not gonna lie, but I’m still glad that I got one year of premium at 44% off a couple of weeks ago. After my subscription expires, I’m not sure if I’d renew it next year, as there is only about 1 year worth of content for me on the service currently as a new subscriber.

Been looking to play Valhalla for ages now and I go to Norway in May so this has come at a better time.

My only concern is what I'll sink into first, Valhalla or Rebirth. I can't play two games at once and for the first time since Remake, I've bought a game full price so I'll be annoyed with myself if it takes me a month or 2 to play it.

Was going to get Valhalla off eBay a week or so ago but got called out on a job and didn’t complete purchase, saved me a tenner

Shouldn't these polls come out after we've tried the games? None of us know how happy we are with the games until we've tried them.

Hype to play some Tales of Symphonia hahaha.

There are rarely any games on ps plus that I'm keen to play, so any month where there's even 1 game I'm interested in is a good month. There were several Star Ocean games couple months ago and now there are some Tales Of games so that's good (except I have them all already on disc but still good for those who don't have them)

Resistance Retribution is one of my all-time favorite PSP games, still have my copy but want to play on the tv and look forward to doing some trophy hunting. Jet Moto 2 will also be fun to revisit. Good enough for me.

Got my PS5 this time last year after having an XBOX X due to PS shortages. I got a premium sub which I downgraded to extra after a month. Once I completed Ghosts of Tsushima, Miles Morales and Yukuza Like a Dragon there was nothing really left to hold me so I cancelled it. 8 months later nothing has been added to entice me back. Badly need to add games that have been out for years like GT7 and TLOU remaster and even TLOU 2 remaster to Extra. I dont whinge on monthly free games but paying for extra I expect more from PS.

What I am not a big fan of with is that various ps4 remastered games end up on the premium tier rather then extra tier. The extra tier has numerous games but the numbers are kind if inflated simply due to the fact that the ps4 and ps5 versions somehow count as two games. Essential is hit and miss, often miss with only on rare occasions do I end up seeing any games I really want to play. Both extra and premium have some interesting games but the prices are way too high for what you actually get.
