I was just about to push the button and buy the disc version - what stopped me ? I have no idea what the UI looks like - Miles Morales is the only game I want at launch , and now I can get in on PS4 and save £450. I bought a PS4 at launch and it sounded like a jet - I upgraded to a PS4 pro at launch and it also ended up sounding like a jet ..... can anyone give a good reason to buy PS5 at launch ?
Am on the fence ... will more than likely buy the disc version at some point , but there is no 'MUST BUY NOW' imperative (at the moment)
Tier 1 (bronze?) access to Ps3/vita games for legacy console owners (might include ps4)
Tier 2 (silver) as above Online gameplay and new monthly games
Tier 3 (gold) as above with access to alpha's - beta's etc
Tier 4 (platinum) above and PS now
Lower the cost of ps+ for legacy console owners will keep them 'subscribed' so they can still access there ps3 IGC games
Everyone is looking to netflix as the template for future gaming (a streaming service) - and am sure that sony has noticed that Netflix is not a single price-point
When gaming becomes a chore . Wonder if he still enjoys playing games , or is it now an addiction for more and more trophies regardless of what the game is
What happened to pre-order bonuses ? Surely these cosmetic DLC should be a reward for day 1 purchase ? Am I the only one who remembers these. RE2 is on my want list for sure. I have recently stopped day1 purchases, too many sales and too many games in my backlog means that patience really can pay (or save) Am also becoming very wary of DLC - Streetfighter from cashcom has 3 season passes and other DLC etc .
January/Febuary are going to be 'dry' months for me , I have far too much of a backlog -Tomb Raider 20th + Resident Evil (4/5/6) were too tempting digitally , add in The Last Guardian hitting £25 physical . All of which I was interested in , all of which are now ready to play and will keep me busy for the first quarter , this might be my new MO - splurge on the sales and hold off new releases till I have cleared the backlog and the 'newer' games are around half price. I followed the COD series through MW - Waw - BLOPS when ASDA sold them for £25 on PS3 . I did think that the price drop for Infinite Warfare might have as much to do with the install base of consoles , sell a million games for £50 or 2 million for £25. My hope is this is the new sales model moving into 2017 and beyond , cheaper games because of the larger install base ... Just my opion , with the doom and gloom around the world its nice to 'escape' for a few hours

Re: Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Comes to PS5 Next Month, PS4 Owners Get Free Upgrade
What does this mean for trophy progress?
Playing the backwards compatible PS4 version on PS5 will share the same trophy list and progress.
Playing the PS5 upgraded version provides a fresh set of the same trophies. There are no plans to add new trophies to this release.
Looking forward to playing through the game again on PS5 ..... wonder how much Kombat Pack 2 is , or do you upgrade to the ultimate PS5 version ?

Re: Talking Point: What Free November 2019 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
maybe Street Fighter 5 / Tekken 7 / Dragonball Fighterz
I think we are due that type of game
Re: Talking Point: What Free October 2019 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
are we not due a brawler ? Street Fighter V / Tekken 7 both have 3 DLC packs and have been in sales

Re: PSN Name Changes Confirmed by Sony, First Is Free, Then You Have to Pay
Wonder if the technical issues are related to online elements where the stats are kept elsewhere - like cod-net and streetfighter leader boards etc.

Re: Reaction: Xbox Is Still Two Steps Behind PlayStation
Nice to see MS show casing a 3d platformer
But I did not see a reason to shell out more money for an Xbox X.
I own PS4 pro and Xbox S , they will suffice til the 'next generation' is launched in the far future .
