@DrVenture69 Honestly, I'd argue the 2nd game is unique enough on its own that it's hard to do an apple to apples as there are qualities of the 2nd that do blow the 1st out of the water.
The 1st had a larger map, and maybe some more content. The story was also better as the 2nd felt more forced and not as interesting.
The 2nd, while smaller, has tremendously better map design and the ocean is far more lively than the 1st. The extra on foot land content wasn't too bad either, and base content was improved. It's definitely worth playing, not for the story though.
If they can combine the best qualities of the 1st and 2nd they will have an absolute hit on their hands.
