The program was nice, but having it locked to the app was where Sony went wrong. The replacement program (should there be one) should be accessible by both console and app.
With the games being USD $70 right now, I’m already learning to be selective with my purchases or just waiting for sales. If Sony ends up charging USD $80+ for a game, I may have to consider finding another hobby.
Realistically I expect Rockstar Games/ Take Two to announce a release window for GTA 6 by the end of this year. However, in typical Rockstar fashion the game will probably be delayed closer to the release window to “allow more time for polish” and we’ll probably see the game release in September/October 2025.
