@Northern_munkey Streets of Rage 4 had way more replay value than the last TMNT. I was pretty disappointed with it… One of the best things about Streets of Rage 4 was an amazing scoring system that a game like TMNT lacked… plus the TMNT leveling system for each character was kind of boring and didn’t add much… really wasn’t a terrible game… just Streets of Rage 4 is a class of its own in that genre lol….

@Frmknst more like what world are you living in lol…. game definitely does sell well… and probably still will… though I do have a feeling this one might not sell as well as the first three… or I guess 4 technically

One thing I’ve learned….. despite liking this site for its format and fairly easy to navigate news… its probably one of the worst sites possible to use for reviews and scores… at least in my opinion…

I’m definitely in the camp that basically no new announcements made me excited… I guess the naughty dog game a little… but yeah… I was personally left pretty bored and disappointed all show.

@ZeroSum yeah I know… I enjoy this site… but occasionally they post absolutely terrible articles like this spreading misinformation… it is what it is…

These aren’t ads lol… it’s a photo of whatever the latest news is posted for that game.. Which is still pretty lame… but this article is outraging people into thinking it’s something it’s not. Doesn’t mean one day we aren’t in for such a thing though.

Really isn’t any particular games fault… the photo is whatever happens to be the last news thing they posted… so space marine 2 just happened to be a YouTube lore explanation thing as this weird UI change came into effect.

Not sure what people expected with the normal console even increasing price in some places since 2020… $700 seemed like best case scenario to me… what I fully expected for months… I guess the disc drive doesn’t bother me since I’m fully digital now anyways…

Honestly not sure why people think ps5 hasn’t been pushed yet lol… space marine 2 feels like it’s running like 20FPS in performance mode with how much is going on in a couple scenes during the campaign.

8 years….. and I’m way more excited to play newly announced Faaast Penguin next month over this game… lol…

Comments here about pvp shooters and free to play games are always so doom and gloom lol… I wouldn’t write this game off… lots of people are playing it for the fact it has no skill based matchmaking… it actually has a fairly decent chance to make it long term… time will tell lol…

@rjejr Sounds like most other whales are dropping the game for now maybe… I don’t know… we’ll see. I’m going to keep playing…. but any decision that makes the player base smaller definitely stinks… and this will most certainly do that for now.

@rjejr I’m probably one of the most vocal people on their discord lol… Gameloft basically just doesn’t communicate with the community at all now… except for the same super tiny updates they post on Twitter… they disappeared entirely by season 2 on discord because they didn’t want to deal with the negative feedback they were getting about rank and matchmaking.

Oh yeah… they didn’t even release a small event today at all… entirely empty week except for the usual daily stuff….

@rjejr I guess you’re unaware of the players that star level 5 racers… get max crew all 5 stars… but leave their racers at level 1 to get easier matching for a bit… the material changes to season 7 is going to prevent that from happening from now on though… since you need shards and resources per level….

@rjejr As far as abusing the system… if the game was entirely matched by level only… you could technically keep your racer at level 1 and just work your way to max rank beating brand new players to the game. The rank mode in the game is garbage for the most part… needs a big overhaul that they seem to refuse to even acknowledge… that’s pretty much 95% of the conversation on their discord… how much people dislike rank mode…

@rjejr their matchmaking system primarily uses mpr… but it does take level into some consideration… however once you get into high enough mpr races it is lessened… so people have to still level up their racers instead of abusing the system and never leveling up…

@ShogunRok I’m a massive fan of both the sites.. don’t want to give you the wrong impression lol… I guess I just really hate fanboy related content… I get it though… you do have an particular audience to entertain as well.

@ShogunRok does a Persona game really count honestly though..? Feels like a ps franchise still for the most part lol… Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment aren’t games that released simultaneously as well… there’s been numerous times the review here has been exactly one point less than the Xbox review on the same day for a game pass game… Anyways… still lots of kind of immature fanboy articles on here quite often… still enjoy the site… I’ve been on here for years… I honestly lean more towards PS these days… but I really don’t get this feeling as much on the Xbox site. Just my opinion.

Well… I’ll be giving this game a try since there will be no skill based matchmaking in normal quickmatches.

I’m kind of looking forward to giving this a try once everything is released. Glad the game sounds like it might be a bit improved once I do.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Also surprised how decent Dead Island 2 looks in the previews so far.

Auto crafting arrows is definitely a welcome change I wish had existed before I finished the game up.

@Loamy The single player part of the game was really fun…. I remember the intro convention area was really cool… but you couldn’t even replay any single player content when the game first came out… I’m hoping that of course was fixed later on lol..
