@Psnfanboy79 Apparently it didn’t have PS5 Pro enhancements at launch. Supposedly in the works though. The game runs great on the pro in performance mode, not good in quality mode. Also, they really need to patch in an FOV slider. Bizarre that an FPS doesn’t have an FOV slider.

I’m a huge Borderlands fan and want the preorder bonuses, but was trying to wait for the review first. I wanted to know how it performed on the PS5 Pro. I’ll have to take a gamble now.

@LiamCroft did you ever feel like you’d rather be playing with KBM, rather than a controller. Better question might be, does using the controller hold it back? I ended up playing the previous 2 doom games on PC because KBM was the better experience, imo. But, I’d really like to be able to use a controller and play in the comfort of my living room.

One of the most definite buys for me ever. I will be counting down the days. So that’s exactly 162 long days from today!

This seems like it might actually be more of a controller game than kb/m. I’m all for it if it is. I’ve tried to play Doom 2016 and Eternal with a controller on PlayStation. I just can’t enjoy those without using kb/m. I’d love to play on my PS5 pro in the living room with a controller instead of being forced to play on PC at my desk. Yeah I know I could move my PC to the living room, but I don’t wanna.

Welp, I was really hoping to hear better things about performance on the PS5 Pro. Not sure I want to jump in day one now.

How's the frame rate? the first one's frame rate (played the PS4 version on PS5) was bad. I had to play it on PC to enjoy it for that reason.

Played the beta and I was surprised how much I liked it. I ended up preordering. The combat is amazing, good progression, and its solo friendly. Also, the game is beautiful. Remember your character is your ship, your ship is your character, this is the best way to approach the game. It's crazy how many people are going out of their way to bash a game that they've never played (not all people, but many).

My favorite Insomniac Spider-man game yet. It's in my top 3 games this year. Games good!

Yes I'm playing it! Feels good to be back in that world. It's such a fun and enjoyable game to play. Glad it's PS5 only, it doesn't have to lessen the experience by making it work on the PS4 as well. Insomniac Games proves (once again) they are one of Sony's best developers.

Finished the brilliant Baldur's Gate 3 one day before Starfield official release. So it's a Starfield weekend (it's a damn good game, I don't care what anyone else says).

@Joabra01Swe 30 fps hasn't been an issue for me so far, I know they are looking at increasing the fps in a future patch. If this was an action game like GoW or Spiderman, then yeah it would matter more. But it's not, it's golf.

I've played through 3 days of early access and can tell you this is a fantastic golf game. It's a bit frustrating at first, but once you start earn and distribute a few skill points, it all starts to click. Before you know it the controls become second nature. You'll gain some confidence and start to make some incredible shots. And, the courses look amazing. I've always avoided golf games that didn't have a 3-click swing option, but I decided to give this one a chance, glad I did!

mine in order of my vote were: Elden Ring, Marvel Midnight Suns, Cult of the Lamb, Gran Turismo 7, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection. sixth would've been GOW: Ragnarok.

Games fantastic. I appreciate the fact Firaxis didn't just reskin Xcom. Once you get the flow of the combat down and understand the approach they've taken with the deckbuilding aspect, it really starts to shine. Blade is so damn cool in this game!
