@johnny30 People don't seem to understand that your broadband/internet speed is not a factor unless you planned to use the Portal outside your home. I've seen countless YT video reviews of the portal that inaccurately mention their internet speeds as a factor while using it at home. It doesn't work that way.
When using the Portal at home....it is connecting to the local Wifi network and then direct to the PS5. There is nothing between the PS5 and the cloud at that point so internet speeds are simply not a factor. Even in the best case there is still a small amount of latency, but it's perfectly usable for certain games. I wouldn't use the portal for shooters or sports games, but for adventure games or casual things like Minecraft it is a great accessory.
