There are aspects that look a bit off but I think back to the earliest tech demo of Shenmue III and those Ryo and Shenhua models were off, too.
If I were trying to pull one over on fans, I wouldn't put out a trailer that included the arcade bit or outfit changes. Those seem like things Yu Suzuki would do. And the way the camera moves in this, those are things that suggest some artistic vision at work here. In short, this passes the smell test.
