Re: VRR Support Patched into Ghostwire: Tokyo

@stu123 I have an LG OLED for 2 years now and so far no sign of any burn in. I was worried a bit in the begrinning but I watch varied content and so far so good. Definitely better than Samsung with local dimming off.

Once I have tried VRR, I have quite trouble playing games that don't run in 60 FPS (preferably with VRR) or Quality mode with VRR. Games run so much smoother and there's no noticeable stutter while turning the camera. Ratchet and Clank is a breeze in Quality mode with VRR. Noticeably smoother than 40 FPS before VRR update. It tempts me to say goodbye to Horizon Forbidden West until they add VRR support.

Re: Sloppy Sony Infrastructure Blocks Ghost of Tsushima PS4 to PS5 Upgrades After PS Plus Legends Claim

Unforgivable. It concerns me too as I wanted to upgrade to PS5 version sometime later. So it seems Sony won't see me paying that PS5 price extra. Their fault, saved money for me. I don't like paying for something screwed so I don't buy it.

The same problem is with GreedFall - if you claimed PS Plus version, you cannot buy a DLC for it. The solution was easy enough for me. Kept my money in my pocket and never touched GreedFall again.

Oh yes, we believe in generations! I think we are now seeing the meaning of this statement to its full extent. I believe that on Xbox, we would just pay for the DLC and get the best version via Smart Delivery (meaning not paying some extra for Series X version nor going through an ordeal).
Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to revisiting Tsushima. I hope that these complications about upgrades (Tsushima, GreedFall, Final Fantasy VII Intergrade, etc.) backfire on Sony. I feel like they deserve that. They seem being overconfident about their market share.
