Wouldn't surprise me if this happened. Ea is a good buy pretty much guarantees The Casual market with FIFA. But I hope not that is one more step towards all-digital games you never owned. Not good for brick and mortar stores as well. I feel Microsoft have forced Sony hand to buy because if they get another big studio that's a problem. Capcom and bungee would be my go-to purchases both performing well and a reasonable price for Sony money both Studios have extremely talented developers. But imagine if Microsoft got hold of one of these Capcom is chump change for Microsoft. But that would be the death of sony
So do we think Sony respond? They have made a lot of money lately there's no sign of Microsoft stopping I bet they will go for another company. As much as Game Pass is a great deal. I still prefer to buy my physical games and keep them forever. This is bad news for that. I always thought Capcom or Konami was a good buy for Sony with a great back catalogue of IPs. Not that I care for Call of Duty but My Three Sons will soon want xboxs if it becomes exclusive. Along with an lot more casual gamers
