Sony passed the Twisted Metal reboot game to Firesprite. This is awesome because Firesprite usually makes VR games for Sony. I think it will be a kick ass hybrid game!
I looked it up. The 3090ti is approximately 53% better in performance over the 2070 Super. So while I have my doubts, it could be around the same if foveated eye tracking is used.
Those arguing that it doesn't match a 3090 ti are not factoring the PSVR2's foveated eyetracking. This allows the PS5 to increase the resolution in the areas you are looking and lower it all around your peripherals. Sony claims they get a 30% to 50% increase from the eye tracking. So, if you add 30% to 50% to a 2070 Super, it's roughly around the performance of a 3090 ti.

Anyways, the PSVR needs to be completely overhauled.
It needs a bigger FOV, MUCH higher resolution, completely new tracking system, new controllers, and a bigger sweet spot on the lenses while maintaining it's current refresh rate and comfortable fit.
I won't buy it for minimal upgrades.
No. it doesn't make sense to make Sly, Jak, or any other game. This is a free opportunity to advertise for their new game. It gets people excited to play Ratchet and Clank.
It's cool they own this but the bigger question is will Stormland be on PS5/PSVR2? Insomniac has a nice list of games that come with them. The Resistance series, Ratchet & Clank series, Spider-Man, Spyro series, Edge of Nowhere, Feral Rites, and The Unspoken would be great on PS5!
@GKO900 Well how about Shaun Layton already discussing PSVR2 and his VR plans for the next 10 years. Also VR, in general, is growing each year exponentially and Sony is in the forefront. They have already announced the PSVR will be compatible with PS5 until the PSVR2 comes out.
@Shepherd_Tallon It really helps to put a fan in front of you while playing. It does 2 things. One, it helps cool you as overheating can make you feel nauseous. Two, it give you constant sense of direction that helps with disorientation. Don't try to force your way through though. The longer you feel sick, the worse it gets. Take a break every time you start to feel off
