I’ve been a fan of Sonic my entire life and it’s so disheartening to see gameplay like this after the passion that went into Mania. Or any other high profile 3rd party game tbh. The backgrounds look great and the art design for the level brings a nice different take to Chemical Plant but that gameplay is terrible. Honestly we’ve all played enough games to know how this plays just by watching it. It’s not only mostly on auto pilot, the homing attack and drill power takes away just about any agency you’d have to take out these enemies outside of pressing the button to use the attack. And that’s just the beginning really. Honestly as fans of the franchise like myself I wish we’d see less of people defending this type of thing rabidly and more criticism of what’s wrong (respectfully) so we can get better games. Don’t we want better games?

I definitely am getting this but I'd rather play it on Switch

YES!!! So happy it doesn't include a physical disk. I want the game digitally but didn't want to get a collectors edition if it meant I had to buy the game again.

@Xxplayer74xx yea. Even if they didnt I'd probably keep pushing til they did. Their site says they don't charge til 2-3 days before the release and you can cancel before then

@xxjackal74xx yea. There was no way for me to cancel it either because they ended up charging me. I contacted their customer support so I'd just do that. Waiting on them to cancel it

Hmmm....still a sliver of chance just cuz the way things work usually. Wouldve been nice to see the boost in sales even if a small one. But i'm planning on getting it on 3DS if it comes across seas anyway

I'll still be buying Assassins creed on wiiU. Id rather get it now and not miss out on their beast launch or be struggling to find it later. I'll never search for a system for months again.But for the casual gamer cheaper might be better

I'm excited. I think its good that sony and nintendo celebrate their franchises and history in such a way even if its an ambitious clone. Now....a cross-over between the two would be ridiculous lol

Even though im not Sony's biggest fan I do hope they turn it around.

I'm so excited for this game. I still think it would've earned that number 4 better in my book had it been a full retail release instead of episodic with one episode way better than the other. But I'm period to have it part of the franchise none the less.

I wish it had come out as a full retail game to be honest. But I suppose im upset about this.

The ps3 still has so much potential. I think the addition of the vita will allow it to compete with wii U and the next xbox. They just need to think innovative with their games. Although I think the wii U will be a force be reckoned with.
