Re: PS Plus Collection Announced for PS5 Launch, Subscribers Get Access to Blockbuster PS4 Games

Of the 17 games, only 8 have been free on PS+. 2 were free in 2017, 2 in 2018, 3 in 2019, and 1 in 2020. A lot of them have been discounted pretty heavily at some points, but only 8 were free. This is a good deal for anyone who missed out on any of these 17 games, and chances are there is at least 1 per person they can play now that they wouldn't have otherwise.

(this is for the US)
Bloodborne - March, 2018
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - April, 2020
Ratchet & Clank - March, 2018
Until Dawn - July, 2017
Detroit: Become Human - July, 2019
inFAMOUS Second Son - September, 2017
Batman: Arkham Knight - September, 2019
The Last of Us Remastered - October, 2019

This is fantastic in that I played about half of those on the PS4 and have wanted the other half, but never got around to buying them. Now I get them "for free" on PS5. I wonder if these are downloaded to the system or streamed. Also wondering about DLC. An example being, do we get Iceborne with Monster Hunter? Also curious about trophies, I assume they are just PS4 games in your trophy log, but who knows. Anyway, I'm excited. This will help when I only buy a PS5 with 1 or 2 new games.

The original Xbox plan for this was amazing. The only thing it really ***** down was selling used games on eBay and other platforms. In exchange for that, you got to share your games with up to 10 people, you and any one other could play at the same time, and you could still trade it in or give it to a friend. It's a shame it disappeared because people weren't willing to try something new.
