@Alps_Stranger They don’t outright ask for it, but they definitely want some western influence in it so it “makes sense” because they don’t want to learn Japanese culture. I’ve seen it with manga and anime translation debates.

This game sounds right up my ally and people saying it's Clock Tower like is making me want to break my buying ban.

@Dalamar The “modern audience” is usually why I don’t buy remakes. I hate the original being changed and/or censored.

@GloriosaDaisy The game is a masterpiece. Yea some things have aged badly, but Naoto’s arc isn’t one of them. I will say Yusuke was annoying on that especially since Kanji wasn’t doing anything bad.

I would like a sequel but not a remake, they would just change and censor it. I remember it did have controversy, over the violence and such.

Must not break video game buying ban… between this and Digimon, I picked the worst year. It looks really good.

Baldur’s Gate 3. Absolutely loving it and it’s my first CRPG, now I’m willing to check out more.

I’m one of the ones who does not think P4 needed a remake. Nothing wrong with Golden.

I’ve also learned to ignore critics when it comes to horror. I agree with the first comment, not sure why it was made when the original medium was an interactive movie.

@N0CYmr0k You seem to have a weird hatred of anime and let it be known a lot. It’s weird to judge someone for what they like , as not all anime is the same.

I don’t think it needs a remake. It looks fine to me and plays well. I don’t know why people need hyper realistic graphics now a days. I could see updating the dungeons though, they were a bit bland.

I think it’s strange to have such a specific warning, but I’d rather much have this than it be toned down or not at all. Excited for this to come out, especially because of the writer

I finished 4 a few months ago, I really don’t see why it needs to be remade? There’s nothing wrong with the current one and it’s easily accessible to everyone.

Finally start Dragon Age Origins.

I don’t think people realize how much a fan base can ruin things. I enjoyed all the LiS games and I’ll be playing this, but I won’t be going in with high expectations due to reviews.

Then what’s the point of naming it Until Dawn? Like a commenter said, a cash grab.

@BushSwan I just finished this game today. It’s pretty relaxing, at least for me to the point I’d fall asleep.

Where do people find the complainers about “purple hair”? Sometimes I feel like I live under a rock or maybe it’s good as it shows I’m not online all the time.

I’ve never played a Dragon game, I have Origins and was debating on starting it since it looks up my ally.

Not surprised really… the last game didn’t receive the best reviews either. Still I’ll be playing it, but I don’t have my expectations high.

As a horror and Disney fan, this looks to be an instant buy. Looks super cool.

Alan Wake and Powerwash Simulator on my Steam Deck. I’m really enjoying Alan Wake and wondering why I waited so long to play and Powerwash puts me to sleep (In a good way, and thankfully have not had the Deck fall on my face) it’s satisfying to wash everything off.

@Flaming_Kaiser I’m not sure what people are complaining about since I don’t pay attention to it. I’m just saying people can voice opinions without someone dictating if it’s wrong or not.

It’s one thing to complain, it’s another when you have time on your hands to change a wiki page. Usually I’m the type to disagree with outfit changes but I don’t think Maria looks bad. I also don’t think her head looks bad either. Some people just want things to fail so they can be “right”.

Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about it being reviewed but I’m happy to see that it’s getting good reviews. So I’ll probably end up picking this up soon after its release.

Jins story is done. I like being able to play as a female main character and I’m excited for this one.

I’m surprised at those who say they’ve never heard of the game, I’ve seen Banishers a lot. I want to play it, but I can’t justify paying full price.

Kind of mixed whether I’ll get this asap or just wait until it’s about 20-25 dollars. Doesn’t look too promising to me but I’ll wait for reviews.

I remember getting pizza parties at the nursing home I worked at. Asking for better wages was too much to ask for, but you bet your butt we’d have pizza parties every other week!

I’ve said this before, but I’ll never understand why it’s not okay to have women be seen as sexy but in video games today, there is all sorts of weird sexual stuff and heavily sexualized men.

@naruball Yea, I can see that. Unfortunately I’m not knowledgeable enough on the topic of armor to give a well informed opinion on that, but I can understand where that comes from.

I just don’t agree with the opinion that female characters need to be covered at all times and/or have no big breasts/curves versus it’s okay to have an unrealistically muscled male character be half naked.

As a woman, I never understood why some of the women I have played video games with hated women characters that looked sexy or didn’t have “conservative” outfits but yet loved muscular men in barely covered outfits and fetishizing them with other male characters. I always found it a bit hypocritical.

It never bothered me and I remember one of my favorite characters growing up was Ivy from Soul Calibur 2. Sometimes I like sexy girls like I enjoy sexy men lol.

Honestly pretty burned out with Marvel and my last movie was End Game… I just can’t bring myself to watch more Marvel movies, ever.
