With creativity I always tend to think the creator is free with their own work.
Sure we can ask why this or that, but here I suspect we will not get an answer!
It does not make much sense here, however when does romance really get you a tangible gameplay reward?
Again another point where I agree I may see things differently since romance in games might be something to unlock achievements at best in my eyes (like it was in Veilgard) !

How old are you? There are stupid people amongst all the users on every platform.
I personally have both and am happy to get stuff on ps5 I can't get on pc and the other way around. My pc only users friends don't even think of complaining about that PSN account thing. Do remember it's the d*cks who are the most vocal.
All that negativity all the time, what's the point? Of course if you pay more you'll get more!

People have already made an account for Steam or whatever other platform to buy it...
Only real issue is blocking people in some countries because of this. Don't care if it's a small country, people should be able to enjoy a game if they want to buy it.

On PC there is a myriad of small stuff coming out that I look forward to. Not a knock on consoles for the sake of it, mind you, only how I feel at the moment.
My ps5 is going to second hand market soon, I think.

I think it's probably best to do it this way.
People who want to use it just can, if there are benefits.
I plan to double dip on Ghost of Tsushima on my pc and I will link my account anyway. At least to try the online features this time around.
But if achievements and progress (one can dream) will be synchronised then that would be a feature that people choose even more willingly.
For example in Horizon Forbidden West, it's totally useless, no point for sure. Maybe unlock a cosmetic?

There is actually a lot of story content but it's still the kind you find in a live service game.
Like Destiny 2 or Warframe.
So a huge symptom of those and I don't know if they changed this, but the checkpointing system for this mode is very bad, as each session has, or maybe used to, last an hour or more in one go.
The last one themed on Monkey Island was quite fun!

Graphics, but not only, performances seem to be shifty.
In their latest podcast, Digital Foundry said (it was a quick observation, based on a short time with the game) :
Graphics are PS4 era quality, but struggles to keep target of 60, wavering between 40 and 60, depending on the quality setting.
It is a shame, and another sign that PS5 Pro will not fix all this, because we can guess they will render the games in 8K for marketing reasons, which will lead to history repeating itself.
Hope a day one patch can help, still.

Really time for me to resell mine before pro version kills second hand market too hard...

Ooh good catch, I was thinking of getting it on ps5 instead of PC, but I let my ps+ sub lapse and keep forgetting that's a requirement for online play.
Well will wait for a bit then.
