@Theamazing1 All the successful emulators I'm aware of on PC used a TSX instruction set which no longer exists since Intel stopped supporting it. Not to mention that PS4 and PS5 don't support it to begin with since it was only supported by Intel.
@BamBamBaklava89 Sony would most likely need to add specialized hardware into future PlayStations to ensure compatibility and that's simply not a cost they're willing to shoulder, especially considering it wouldn't drive as many sales as the hardcore gamer thinks it would. Not only that but a lot of these games need serious work done to them to at least bring them up to a decent resolution and stable frame rate. And even then, most of us have gotten spoiled by 60 fps anyway.
Probably 2027 since it tends to release in the spring. Hiring a senior level programmer takes a while and they probably won't start until early next year, so Spring 2026 seems too crunched to me.
@StrickenBiged PS5 Pro's considered to be 45% more powerful from a computational standpoint on the GPU side with the possibility of 10% more calls per cycle on the CPU side.
If these rumors are to be believed, then this will be a 300% increase over the GPU. Not sure about the increase in calls per cycle over the CPU though.

@DennisReynolds I want them all at 60 fps. Not that I have time to play them anyway.

What an absolute disappointment gaming has become.

@PuppetMaster I know KOTOR was never ported to PlayStation. Not sure about the other one.
