@RiverGenie it’s just the latest virtue signal. Every field is using AI. We are using it a lot more than anyone even picks up on too, lol. It’s only the blatantly obvious stuff some of the jobless pick up on. There’s far more AI in all this stuff than anyone knows.
Anyone who thinks AI isn’t going to be in video games in the future is dense. Cry about it all you want. Virtue signal about how it’s going to kill jobs and if we all stand by and let it happen it’s on us. Shut up. There’s nothing that’s going to stop it. Get over it.
I got pulled into this game as a GoW fan but it’s very mediocre. Had it been even $10 more I would have definitely passed outright. But the game other than the art style and GoW theme is very boring. Combat is horrible.
There is too much surrounding this game to not be a wait and see for me. Publications giving it a low score while being the same publications that gave other games a higher score that literally were shut down before a year was up. This one is too muddy one way or the other to not wait and see more footage and discussion about it. I hope it actually is better than some are trying to suggest it all of a sudden is not. People have weird allegiances to games and studios that I feel is seeping through here.
Good news is there is no reason to buy a game day 1. This looks promising but it's still hard to tell how good it looks from a YouTube video. I don't mind waiting a few more days post launch for real reviews.
This gives me hesitation as a base PS5 user. I will wait for heavy reviews for this. I love the look and everything happening with this game. But I am not buying $70 games that don't run on a base PS5 well anymore.
@TrollOfWar Thing is, Wolverine will move consoles, and then players who feel like a game of that caliber are worth buying a console for, will suddenly remember some of the "lesser" titles also still exist. So while some games might not move a console themselves, there are enough games that do that even the games that don't benefit in the long run.

@MARl0 spoken like someone who has never had a real job, lol.

@Metonymy all creative fields are using AI. The only people who don’t understand the at are people without jobs.

@Scottyy you won’t be playing video games in the future then, bub.

Re: PS5 Spin-Off God of War: Sons of Sparta Has Been a Big Hit for Sony
@Afroducc I felt the same. Other than the GoW theme and art style, this game is beyond average.
Re: PS5 Spin-Off God of War: Sons of Sparta Has Been a Big Hit for Sony
@Oram77 basically if you stripped the GoW name from this, no one would praise it for anything. It’s painfully average.

Re: Round Up: Crimson Desert Reviews Are a Major Disappointment
@gevalim You mean from the company that scored Concord an 8/10, lol? Yeah I would say getting a low score from IGN is a badge of honor now.

@CaptainWow Talk about a mediocre game, lol. I would definitely wait for that to go on sale.
