This is actually the only relevant thing in this convo, mate. For someone who doesn't care what I do or do not like, you're going out of your way to prove your point, lol.

Skullgirls was far from a great game, it was playable at best. No great story mode, buggy, and characters were silly and pointless.

You needn't mention Lab Zero any more - I got your point about the product they released the first time you said it.

I don't speculate about anything a studio did, because it's speculation - something you're adept at, but is inherently wrong to begin with.

What I do, instead, is enjoy the final result of a studio's work, whether perfect or not, instead of shi**ing all over it and comparing it to a different game.

I get it - you prefer Skullgirls.

@PuppetMaster just because one company was able to, doesn't mean another was - I won't speculate on why something did or did not occur, I can only get the final result. Believe me, I would've loved to have seen a more fleshed-out & completed final version of Fighting EX Layer, but since it didn't I will enjoy it for what it is, even though it's lacking some features.

I already own the digital PS1 versions of these two games, purchased via the PSN to play on my Playstation Vita for like $5 a game (on sale, if I remember correctly). I'll just install them onto my PSTV to play them on my big-screen, thanks.

"Venus Vacation Prism: Dead Or Alive Xtreme" is already pre-ordered - now awaiting the product, simply to both add to the previous 2 games in the series collection, and also to perhaps, find love....?

I played Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn
on it last week, so I still use it - but not as frequently as PS4/PS5/Vita/PSTV

Until an update of Dead Souls occurs, I will be staying distant from this series as a whole.

Rest Mode was the enemy of the Vita's memory cards, and based on my own observations, sped up the likelihood of it corrupting. While I cannot state this as absolute fact (my budget for 32gb & 64gb cards was limited), I can say it seemed more than likely!
Therefore, all Sony consoles moving forward will be put into "off" mode.

I can't even be bothered to play it to completion now.

Sony already did this, years ago: Vita & PlaystationTV.
It was imperfect, but also years ahead of this possible future.

Maybe it's because I played them on the PSP, but of all the titles included in Part 2? I'm not interested in either Power Stone game, they really weren't very good.

Also, some "Persona 3 Reload" - it's a sad attempt to seem somewhat 'modern'.

I still play my Playstation 3 copy occasionally, but with the Dualshock 3 starting to give up the ghost, I'm looking forward to continuing to play on the PS5.

@jrt87 personally, I think they are suited just fine for visual novels - other genres though? Not so much.

With Backbones & Portals, doesn't the PS5 offer the same VN playing abilities as a Switch, though?

I'd buy a Playstation Vita or Playstation Vita TV in mid-2024 before I purchased a PSVR2.

I started playing "EDF 5" about 2 weeks ago - I love it!
I still play "Earth Defense Force 2" and "Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable" on the Vita/PSTV when I'm in the mood for some quick bug obliteration!! 🕷🪰🐜

I'm breaking out my finest PSTV-ware to play some Persona 3 Portable, and a bit of P4G as well to get me ready for Persona 3 Reload in a month or so!

I'm still patiently awaiting Yakuza: Dead Souls 2..... ⏳️

Honestly? Kratos is a straight-up punk b***h now. I found it impossible to get more than 30 mins. into either reboot, try as I may. I must agree with David Jaffe on this one, and while they're only 2 opinions, they are nonetheless valid.

An absolutely excellent title, but only for those who are into this style of game.

Like the Vita and PSTV, it's a definite buy for me.
Time will tell how well it fits into the Playstation ecosystem overall, and how long before it gets a price cut (potentially).
I tend to enjoy the more ridiculed Playstation peripherals, obviously.
