No, no one at Sony said they'd only be delivering PS5 games going forward. They said that they believe in generations, and that PS5 games would not be playable on PS4. They have in fact delivered many PS5 only games (not playable on PS4) already, and there are surely more to come. Many games were in development when a PS5 market was still very theoretical, it makes perfect sense for them to be cross generational. Also, the original vision for a game may have always been possible for PS4 hardware, so there's no reason to make it PS5 only. A title like God of War, as much of a graphical spectacle as it is, already had a seamless semi-open world story with no camera cuts. The SSD isn't necessary for that vision, graphics are easily scaled, and DualSense functionality is worth implementing but not necessary to gameplay. Sony has supported the PS5 with great exclusive software through the first six months, and there's no reason to expect that will change. Having the PS4 along for the ride on some games is just good business, while they work to get those gamers into next gen hardware.
@AgentGuapo With this much time into both the pandemic, and console sales, anyone could have come up with a safe way to sell these things in person. A whole host of other in demand products are being sold in person all the time. The big launch rush is over, just stock them on shelves with no fanfare, and people will get them as they see them. If they really just can't conceive of that though, there are a lot of things that could be done to improve online distribution too, such as allowing customers to add their name to a virtual waiting list so they're guaranteed a spot in line when stock arrives. There are many ways to verify it's actual customers reserving a spot too. Sony's PlayStation Direct site, does it pretty well by giving ample time to que up, then selling the consoles by lottery system so it doesn't matter how fast you are. They are only one piece of the puzzle though. What it comes down to is laziness from these retailers imo, they're getting their money and they don't care beyond that. That's why Sony, gamers, and journalists need to start calling them out.
At this point, I think we should really put to bed the notion that Sony is not providing enough PS5 stock. They had more units available than anyone else at launch, and are still selling at the fastest rate ever (beating their own record with the PS4). Since Sony doesn't operate its own stores they need to put the heat on their retail partners to put these consoles on the shelves, or find a fair way to get them into consumers hands over the internet. The pressure on the retailers to find a solution should be coming from gamers and journalists too. There's just no excuse for us to be this far in, and gamers still have to compete with bots.
How about articles covering whatever sale is going on, with staff picks for the best games/deals in each sale. With relevant reviews linked (if they exist) of course.
Also the Nude women of Crystal Palace Football Club thing sounds pretty boss.
I'm beginning to wonder if we are at a watershed moment for the gaming industry, similar to the switch from 2D to 3D, when a lot of game makers had to exit the industry because they couldn't do the new math required. Some studios may have to step back and realize they arent equipped to make AAA games any more, and refine their focus to a more AA/Indy style, or face extinction. Companies with aging engines and talent that was stretched last gen aren't going to find the going any easier against top tier talent from Sony's first party this gen. AAA game design is only getting more complex, and CDPR's vision clearly outstripped their ability even on PC. All the brute force in the world can't squash the bugs and fix the AI. The worst sin of all was their lies of course, and Sony should have known better to take their word that the day 1 patch would fix a game in such poor shape.

Re: Feature: What Discord Integration Could Mean for PS5, PS4
I hope the integration is pretty deep. It'd be nice to have video chat again, among other features.
