I know I'm being pessimistic and more, but this just looks like a Batman take on Marvel's Avengers — and we know how that turned out. I like the idea of potential seamless coop where people can drop in and join you in fighting crime, but the RPG-ifying (seeing all the numbers and stats on the outfits) or looter-shooter-ifying of a game that should effectively just be a brawler makes me think there'll be a lot of pointless busywork for the sake of padding out "hundreds of hours of gameplay". Any word on whether this is being looked at as a GaaS?
The hypermotion stuff certainly makes it better than FIFA21, but it's still very much FIFA. While the difference is noticeable, it's not as drastic as the headline makes it seem.
Dunno what the fuss is all about. They usually launch a demo anyways, and they usually launch PES Lite which ends up being pretty much what they're planning on delivering at some point in Autumn. They've just shuffled the order and the focus. If it fails, it fails — if it doesn't, it doesn't. At the end of the day, it's Free-to-Play so nobody's getting hurt except for Konami.
@710King Odyssey DEFINITELY required grind. It was, in many ways, designed to pad out the playtime, and the levelling was certainly a part of it. It just doesn't bother some people as much as others. Ideally, it would have been great if the game didn't require the grind to keep up with the main quests, so you wouldn't constantly get pulled away from getting invested in the main story because you had to go do side stuff in order to bump your levels up to be within the recommended range.

People really can't tell the difference? Are they looking at compressed images on their phones?
