Re: Feature: The Best Games on PS4 - Winter 2016 Edition

Observer-Hunter

I'm yet to play journey. I think it looks awesome and I've heard the soundtrack. Its incredible. I'd have to say top 10 ps4 games for me including remasters/ports and whatever:
1. The last of us
2. Dying light
3. Life is strange
4. Mad max
5. Until dawn
6. Outlast
7. Fallout 4
8. Telltale walking dead season 1 & 2
9. Knack
10. P.T (criesinside)

Call outs to tomb raider, the evil within, infamous second son (dlc included), wolfenstein the new order, murdered soul suspect, rocket league, zombie army trilogy, batman arkham knight, Lego batman 3, the order, plants vs zombies garden warfare for amazing graphics and just because its hilarious. Bearing in mind I literally thought of this list right off the back so the order may be different if I had more time to think.

Re: PS4 Hit Bloodborne Is Shuhei Yoshida's Pick for Game of the Year

Observer-Hunter

Bloodborne is by far the worst game I have ever bought. It was not really the kind of genre that I would usually go for but I have never been so disappointed. I played it pre release at an event in my local game store and really enjoyed it. I was so disappointed when I bought it. I now understand what kind of game it is but there was no tutorial, no real story and no direction or point to it. It was like you were just dumped into a map, left to discover the point of the game on your own to just get your ass kicked. Why would you want to kill the same enemies over and over again to level up enough to progress through the game? I understand why people love it as it is one hell of a challenge and hats off to people who have the platinum trophy. Until dawn was incredible. A few problems with frame rate but the story was so good! Definitely my game of the year.

Re: Surprise! Sony Isn't Working on First-Party Titles for PS Vita

Observer-Hunter

I can't say I'm surprised but I am disappointed. I have a psvita and I feel like it wasn't used to it's full potential. Or it was and that was the problem. Not enough "decent" games on it unfortunately. They were all clunky and graphics were always terrible. I got to play a few great indie titles and old school survival horror games like resident evil and silent hill, I also played the two seasons of telltales walking dead, but that is pretty much all I enjoyed. Its a shame to be written off with perhaps a bit of potential to improve but as they say, it's for the players!

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops III Goes Big with Launch Gameplay Trailer

Observer-Hunter

I am a long time old school lover of call of duty. I've been playing them for years and I was so disappointed with advanced warfare. It's the first call of duty game I have ever traded in! I played the mp beta and it was so good! The campaign looks awesome too! Of course, zombies will be amazing as always! People criticize cod for reasons that I sometimes agree with, but it is essentially 3 games in one. Campaign, zombies and mp! And the campaign is coop online now too! Can't ask for much more. Looks awesome!

Re: Follow the Dying Light with Dirt Buggy DLC in 2016

Observer-Hunter

To be fair, in my opinion, Dying Light is the best next gen game I have played. It's been a great year for games but this game genuinely surprised me. Great graphics, cool story and the gameplay was awesome. The zombie slaying mixed with parkour was a fresh and interesting idea and it worked incredibly well. Can't wait for this dlc!
