There's good news for people who can't remember which games they'd like to buy: the PlayStation Store appears to be getting a wishlist. Only available on the plaza's web browser-based version for now, the feature allows you to 'Heart' specific titles that you want to track. These will then be added to your wishlist for future purchasing.
While the functionality isn't available on the PlayStation 4 just yet, we suspect that it will only be a matter of time before it rolls out on the console. This is good news because we feel like the virtual shopping centre's remained static for far too long. Hopefully this development will be followed by game gifting and other similarly overdue features.

cool, should help me keep an eye on the things i want
Yeah definitely a good feature. Would be even better if you could share your wishlist with friends and they could gift you games on it, though!
@get2sammyb it has a privacy setting for Friends or No One. So maybe gifting isn't too far away.
Common sense prevails. Hurrah. I'll be using it. I might read a review and really like a game, 6 months later in a sale I'll see the same game and think 'what the he'll is that?'
Good. I often wondered why this feature wasn't present long ago.
About time. But ironically Nintendo is ahead of this game because the eShop has had a wishlist feature for the longest time.
Heck, I don't think even the Xbox store has a wishlist function. Instead I have to "pin" to dashboard the stuff I want to buy later...
It'd be nice if discounts and sale items had their own heading in the mobile browser store. Always have to open the desktop version of site, on Android anyhow.
@mineralrich Nintendo showing the others how it's done! It's pretty mental that this feature has taken so long...
@get2sammyb For once, Nintendo ahead of the competition for something online related! .
I don't see the wishlist feature live on the US store. Probably will get pushed later today.
Gifting seems impossible in EU, there are games that are not available in all countries.
Is it me or the wish list icon has taken the place of the wallet icon? Now I can't see how much money remain on my account unless I click on my username.
Finally. The wait has been ridiculous. Did it take this long for someone at a meeting to go: "Hey, maybe a wishlist would be a good idea, not sure about it though" - cue applause.
FINALLY!!!!1!eleven!
Nice! I will definitely be using this.
I think perhaps the companies make the mistake of thinking a wishlist is something you make for other people to buy you games. In reality it's just a "to buy" list for yourself. Because they look at it in that way, it doesn't seem that useful. I mean, it's one thing for your mom and dad to have an Amazon account and be able to see your wishlist, but how many parents and other relatives will have a PSN account to check your wishlist from? Or even know what PSN is? Even then, there are PSN gift cards so the whole thing is pointless in the sense of a "please buy me this" list.
So yeah, maybe they've finally realised people use it as a personal memo more than anything.
Would be even better with a gifting function...
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi You and me both bro.
Good feature long overdue.
It's hilarious that it's taken this long but it will be very useful. There are soooo many indie horror games I want and forget that they exist. Until...
would be useful if they e-mail you everytime a game on your list is on sale, that's the only thing I use the Steam wishlist for
This is great, I love this feature on Steam, keeps me from making unnecessary purchases during steam sales.
Amazing, I use this in my Wii U constantly so it's a welcome addition
@get2sammyb Dunno, that's all we need, ladies pimping themselves out to dudes over twitch, sweet talking their er.."fans" into buying items on their (or more likely their boyfriends) wishlist.
I hope you can get a notification when a game(s) in your wishlist go on sale. Like on Steam. That would totally awesome!
I wondered when this would be coming, as Sony seems to mimic some of the features that are available on Nintendo consoles and systems. This is a good thing though, as you'll be able to see when the games go on discounted prices and then purchase them...especially since the library of games is starting to become bigger and bigger with each passing month!
Finally! I've been asking for this for ages now.
