I just can't believe none of your RGP lists have Atom RPG on them. What a travesty of a "best RPG's" list this is. Leaving that game out should be literally illegal lol.
Man, there are several games on this list that aren't even RPG's, and the list also leaves out a number of the absolute best RPG's out there. It just goes to show that lists like this should have titles like "most popular rpg's," not "best rpg's." Where's Kingdom Come: Deliverance? One of the most criminally underrated games out there? Where is Divinity: Original Sin 2? Undeniably the best CRPG available on consoles? And what about Atom RPG? A modern-day love letter to the original Fallout CRPG's, and a fantastic ACTUAL RPG! What a letdown gamers can be sometimes. Gamers just can't distinguish quality from popularity anymore...
Most of the well-known rune farming spots are either gonna net you very few runes for an endgame player, or else they're gonna be boring as hell. For that reason, I've long been searching for a more entertaining, but still viable place to farm runes. The spot that I think is the best balance between decent earnings and low boredom levels is Elphael. You want to start at the Prayer Room grace and simply progress through the area, killing everyone and everything. The runes stack up much faster than you'd expect.
For extra runes at the cost of higher risk, after spawning at the grace and running through the door into the area, you'll see that after you go down the second set of stairs you can jump off the eastern side of the walkway onto a large brace. From there you can get onto a giant pillar, and then jump across to the walkway the Erdtree Avatar is (or was,) pacing across. Then head south to the end of the walkway and jump down (west) onto the little building with the Stonesword Imp fogwall, then (north,) down to the ground. Down there you can fight several Revenants for a really good chunk of change if you're up for the added challenge.
This Prayer Room route us my current favorite. With the Golden Scarab you can make 189,530 runes in less than 25 minutes without killing the Revnants, and that 25 minutes is just what it took me, and I kill the Haligtree Knights and ballistamen with poison arrows so it takes a bit for them to die. You could get that 190K in 15 minutes if you're better at melee than I. That's 3/4 million in an hour, and it FLIES by because you're not just repeatedly shooting a bird or killing a handful of boring, sleeping Albinaurics.
If you're looking for Patches and he's not in Murkwater Cave as indicated by the article, you'll need to go to the swamp in northwestern Limgrave. He lives on a small island just west of the telescope icon, northwest of Laskyar Ruins.
You CANNOT upgrade armor at Church of Elleh OR roundtable hold. You can only upgrade armaments in Elden Ring. This includes weapons like swords, daggers, bows, etc., and shields.
You missed some conversations. For instance, Chapter 2, conversation 3. After you enter the building with the 'David Michael Vigil' Firefly Pendant, after you jump down through the hole in the floor and Tess tells you to mask up because of spores, you crouch through a short pipe. At the end of the pipe is a decaying, dead infected. Joel says "Here's our culpret" vis-a-vis the spores.
@spotanjo3 PS5 is fully backwards compatible. That's how it's able to play any PS4 game. I own one and can confirm it has full, unrestricted backwards compatability for PS4, and while it can't play PS3 discs but it can play any of the PS3 games Sony has made playable on the PS4 through remastering.
@Grimwood RDR2 25 hours of gameplay? Lmao. Maybe for a casual who doesn't bother with all the side content, hunting, outfits, trophies, satchels, collectibles, etc. Idk if you've figured this out yet, but there's a LOT more to any video game than just the story missions the game puts directly in front of you. Try ignoring those instructions and exploring, doing your own thing. You'll undoubtedly find a TON of content that you're currently missing out on. RDR2 has hundreds of hours worth of content without ever touching it's cancerous multiplayer.
@ObserverGamez Absolutely. KC:D is one of the best games I've ever played. It's really unfortunate that so many people get so frustrated with the game for not making you "the chosen one." If you want to succeed at something, be it fighting or picking locks, you actually have to work for it. Not just your character, but literally you, the player, need to work for that skill.
FFXII is listed as 80+ hours, but FFXV is much longer. I just passed 200 collective hours over my 2 playthroughs (50 hour story run followed by a 150-hour (so far) completionist run,) and in my 150-hour completionist run I still haven't completed everything. I still have the two hardest/longest Menace dungeons, one of which is something like 100 floors with no item use, and I also haven't yet defeated the mech that you get the Zwill Crossroads from. I'm also only level 100 out of a maximum 120.
For a true completionist run of FFXV (not just a platinum trophy,) you should figure probably 160 hours if you're not dilly-dallying as much as I have, fishing for tuna, grinding and repeating hunts, etc., so almost twice as much time as you estimated for FFXII.
Don't forget, under 'controls', in the 'accessibility' section, you probably want to switch the "hold to run" setting to "toggle to run." Who wants to have to hold X any time you want to run on foot? That means you have to stop running to focus on anything. I don't know why this setting is backwards as a default but everybody finds "toggle to run" more comfortable and conveinient.

Re: Elden Ring: All Legendary Talismans Locations
Just burning the Erdtree doesn't turn Leyndell to ash. You need to defeat Maliketh before Leyndell turns to the Capitol of Ash.
