@Phelaidar Wrong. The only thing being re-used is the motion capture data and audio. The engine is rebuilt, the sound mix is being reworked for 3D audio, the textures and assets are all new, the models are redone, and the games controls and mechanics are being reworked to flow better with Part 2.
Even if it's the same game on the surface, the underlying technology is rebuilt from the new engine. That's a remake. A remaster would just be if they upscaled the PS4 version again.
