For the love of god PLEEEEEASE... I just want the game in general, so many memories. Just come out and confirm it, even with a few months wait to go whatever (like with THPS 3+4, sucked that it isn't till July but at least it was confirmed 👍)

It says it was a "Multiplayer Shooter" so MEH. I just want either another TitanFall Campaign (still haven't beaten TitanFall 2 actually so still have that, got the MP and Training Top 3 Trophies out of the way already so there's that 👍) or Star Wars Jedi 3 (really enjoyed playing/platinuning those games back to back about a year ago)

As an Australian myself, HELL YEAH... Hopefully having a name as big as Rockstar here can help bring the AA/AAA games industry back to the country (tons of great Indies are made here but everyone making big stuff from the PS1-PS3 days are long since gone unfortunately)

This was a pleasant surprise, I assume they'll do Turok 2 as well down the line... Now just give me a PS5 Port of Powerslave: Exhumed and I'm set 👌

Sure it's "expensive", $150 for the Premium Edition (Australian price, also not bad for me as I'm not broke 😅) it's the EXACT SAME PRICE on Xbox sooooo 🤷‍♂️ Don't see a problem with that.

I hope so, ever since the Persona Dancing games and seeing the P4 and P3 Casts in P5 levels of graphics/realistic proportions (as opposed to the Chibi like styling that OG P3/P4 used) I've wanted remakes of both... We have Persona 3 Reload so now we only need Persona 4. I've heard either Rewind or Rebroadcast (maybe another one or two, Replay may have been one actually) tossed around which would fit the whole TV aesthetic of P4.

I even have an Xbox Series X and was subbed to Game Pass Ultimate when it launched... Still didn't play it lol

I'm all for it, but if they're going back to the OG Setting I also want them to return to the good old DMC style Hack 'N Slash gameplay as well (and also set cameras for those beautiful wide shots... Something I was annoyed they removed in Silent Hill 2 Remake btw)

Never had "Plans", I wasn't really gonna game (spent most of my weekend just chilling in bed watching YouTube on my phone, I actually took Wed-Fri off work sick and am still feeling it a bit now on Tue the following week)

When I BRIEFLY gamed I jumped onto my PS5 to turn it off fully (and whilst there I booted up all my recent games on the UI, Digital and Physical, and they all worked perfectly fine 🤷‍♂️) otherwise I just played some Midnight Club L.A. on my glorified Xbox 360 (that's the Xbox Series X 🤣) and a little Burnout 3 Takedown on my actual Xbox 360 having just got a proper (Official) HDD and a new MINTY controller off my friend a few weeks back (you actually need a proper Official HDD for the 360s BackCompat files to actually download/work which is so stupid... Wasn't told/wasn't advertised that the 500GB HDD I ordered ages back was a Chinese Knockoff 😒)

It's so funny always seeing this demand and fond memories of Resistance, I was around during the PS3 Era and I can't think of A SINGLE PERSON who ever cared or talked about these games back then... The sales for the games also backs that up 😅

I think there's a bit of revisionism going on with this series haha

NOOOOOO I literally JUST bought AoE2 on my Xbox Series X 🤣 (jk doesn't matter, it was on deep deep sale for like $13, I'll make sure not to buy the expensive DLCs now though)

@Fyz306903 Yes Halo 2 is "Remastered" in Halo MCC (Halo 2 Anniversary) it was actually one of the main selling points of this Collection back in 2014... Of course unlike Halo 1 Anniversary it's actually an Xbone/PS4 Gen Remaster (as opposed to a 360/PS3 Era one for Halo 1)

The redone OST is REALLY DAMN GOOD and all the Cutscenes done by Blur Studios are also fantastic (and of course, like Halo 1 Anniversary you can hit the "Select" button at any time to swap between the OG/Remastered Graphics & OST seamlessly)

If they released The Sims 2 (hopefully with most of the Expansions/"Stuff" Packs all included, like a "Complete Edition" or whatever) on PS5 I'd buy Day 1.

So many memories during early High School just messing around in The Sims 2, so much fun. Also Sim City 4 👌

I'm cautiously optimistic, it looks good and it has been A LONG TIME, but all I remember about Genki's racing games back on PS2/PS3/360 was that they were really "Off" somehow... They just felt like doodoo to play (like SUPER Budget) compared to Need For Speed & Burnout.

I swear people are just hating for the sake of hating (and it's the "Popular" thing to do right now) on Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed Shadow specifically... It looks pretty good to me. I'm in 🤷‍♂️

I'm kinda confused, isn't NG2 SIGMA basically the equivalent for that game as "NG Black" was for the first one? (all of which got Remasters on PS4/Xbone/Switch like a couple years ago)

If this is just a full on Remake of NG2S with extras and in UE5? why not do NG1S first instead of starting at the second game? 🤷‍♂️

Not a good sign for the rumour (apparently relayed from insiders/staff) that Bioware is about to be shut down by February.

To those few mentioning Nintendo/Switch... The AC Rebel Collection already exists for Switch (came between AC3R and Ezio Trilogy) and contains AC4/Rogue and ALL DLC. Point is that audience has had access to and likely played Black Flag over the last 5 or so Years it has been out on Switch 😅

That said I'm ALL IN for this, I'd really love the Ezio Trilogy (and AC1 ofc) to get the Remake treatment instead though if I'm being honest.

@Mikey856 Same here, first big open world RPG (and one of the first-ish games I grabbed on PS3) and it did suprisingly run better on PS3 too (I believe it was Patched on Xbox 360 to be more in line with the PS3 I think? Either way it's way better now on XsX through BackCompat with 4k/60fps/HDR and all that)

I LOVE Oblivion and I really hope this comes to be. I'm actually somewhat surprised at what people are saying here though. I don't go back to it that often anymore but I did play a bit on my XsX last year and I still enjoy it (of course it is "upgraded" as I already mentioned via the BackCompat)

I still remember the Re-Release, I believe it was the "5th Anniversary Edition", a bit after Skyrim came out and it had a section in the little "Slip" (instead of that GLORIOUS 60 Page or so Manual the OG/GOTY Versions had) that talked about Trophies and how they work... but it was literally just the GOTY Version reprinted, none of the extra Add-Ons that were/are still exclusive to X360/PC and of course NO BLOODY TROPHIES 😒 (I later played and got all 1250Gs/1250Gs on X360 during that generation though)

Yeah 84GB is really not that bad, especially if your used to juggling ANYTHING that Microsoft puts out on Xbox Series (seriously, for the life of them they can't get a damn game under 100GB and it's annoying as hell 😅)

I also made the point of buying an SSD pretty early on, it's only an extra 1TB and it's kinda becoming an issue now with a ton of games I want to keep installed (might be time to invest in getting a 2TB... Maybe a 4TB if I'm feeling really financially irresponsible 🤣)

Well, even if it is fake (and if it's real I've spoiled it for myself 😅) I decided to read through it and honestly... SOUNDS PRETTY AWESOME, albeit a bit generic/predictable.

They say it's basically "Open World Uncharted with Sci-Fi Elements", well a lot of my favourite parts of the Uncharted Series are the big open areas in U4 & UTLL (and the segment in TLoU2) and it's basically what I was expecting when we heard NDs next game was gonna be more open anyway 🤷‍♂️

When I picked up my Physicals of RE 2/3/7 on PS5 from the store on the weekend I eyed Black Myth Wukong and talked with the manager about it, expressed how I was actually interested now that it has a Physical Release and was considering buying it on the spot.

Glad I didn't, after this I won't be buying it out of spite (not like I want to give my money knowingly to China and the CCP anyway 🖕)

AWESOME, so many great reveals, New IPs from studios I LOVE (RGG Studios etc.) and returning IPs like Onimusha & Okami 👌

Pretty excited, I knew straight away (was joking saying to my friend on chat "Ooow, it's Naughty Dog's next game") and it just set in/hit me as I started putting the Sci-Fi rumours and stuff together in my head, then we see the "from the Devs of: Crash, Jak, Uncharted, TLoU" we absolutely lost it

Was also digging the product placement. If done right it actually helps ground the thing in our/the real world. Dig that our ship is a Porsche.

Also I've heard/seen the name Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet like a year ago, I believe a trademark was filed. May have been on Sacred Symbols from memory 🤔

You know what would make The Game Awards actually hype... Get Joel McHale to host 🤣 I love his sarcastic "Who gives a F***" attitude/aura and the clips from back in the day are just gold 👌 Would definitely be more entertaining to watch.

@breakneck Definitely, I'll clarify that when I mentioned the reuse of Assets I was also being positive about it 😅

@breakneck The Yakuza team (Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios) is pretty crazy with their release cadence, but they also reuse TONS of assets.

Sonic Team and that series doesn't really release TONS of games, they're probably also of a smaller budget/scale compared to other AAA Games (a bunch of outside studios also work on various entries, it isn't always Sonic Team doing the development)

Atlus has like 3 MAJOR Internal Teams:
Team Maniax (Shin Megami Tensei and it's various spin-offs)
P Studio (Persona and it's spin-offs which are usually done alongside other external studios)
Studio Zero (founded by the "Big 3" as I affectionately call them, Hashino/Soejima/Meguro, from P-Studio and they've only done Catherine Full Body back in 2019 and now Metaphor)
I believe there's also another team, don't know if they have a specific name (they did Tokyo Mirage Sessions and then Soul Hackers 2)

Basically, TLDR, your underestimating the amount of Studios and outsourced work Sega/Atlus does 😅

Funny part is, if the overwhelming 8/10 - 10/10 Reviews are to be believed, then the Xbox crowd that loves to crap over PlayStation games for their length/amount of cutscenes/pacing etc. are gonna be praising and defending a game that seems to be a very "PlayStation" type experience overall 🤷‍♂️ 😅

I dunno if I can be bothered but I DO have Game Pass Ultimate till the end of the month... Maybe I'll Pre-Download it now and run through it just to keep up with things? I dunno 🤔

@get2sammyb Glad you said it mate 😅 I'll add that the UI Image overlay (the PS2 one at least) looks really blurry as well.

Keep the Boot Up (toggle in the Settings) and keep the Themes BUT only the Overlay/UI Changes present when bringing up the PS Button Menu and of course, most importantly to me, the UI SFX/Chimes/Clickety Clacks 😂

This time, I don't really care for any of these games (and I believe I own Alien already) but as usual these are a BONUS, I don't pay for PS+ to get Games.

I'm more excited, as always, for the Classics... Sly 2/3 to finish off the Trilogy (yeah I know of Thieves In Time, I'm just not counting it here) and good ole Jak & Daxter, PEAK Naughty Dog and my 4th/5th Platinum for that particular game 👌 (plus the almost guaranteed fact that we'll get updated releases of Jak 2/3/X now as well) has me hyped enough 🤷‍♂️

Hahaha, while I definitely understand maaaan. First they absolutely BUTCHER these Classics (regardless of circumstances around time and budget, I don't care, excuses and all that) they then have the BALLS to rename themselves to Grove Street Games (Grove Street, the main gang of CJ and his crew in San Andreas, one of the GOATs) get the hell outta here 🤣

The one that stuck out to me (and I don't have a PS5 Pro so I can't say anything definitive here) is the PS4 Remaster for Dead Rising 2... Yes DR2, not the recently released Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster (which I believe did get a Pro Patch, also not really a Remaster imo more a Remake but whatever 🤷‍♂️)

As always, only interested in the Classics anyway... Blood Omen finally (after being announced, should be Free since I own it through PS3/Old PSN) also adding in Blood Omen 2 as a PS2 Classic? SWEET. Now we just need LoK Defiance, I think that was it, from PS2 and along with the Soul Reaver 1/2 Remaster we'll have the whole Series on PS4/PS5 👌

Resistance 1/2 would be cool if it wasn't Streaming (which I'm 99.99999% sure still isn't a thing here in Australia anyway 😒 regardless still have my PS3 and literally every 1st Party Game for it so I don't care 🤷‍♂️)

@Shakybeeves No, I remember the back of older CoD games like Modern Warfare 2 (OG on PS3 in 2009) or maybe it was Black Ops 1 the following year (heck... Probably BOTH) said the same thing 🤷‍♂️

It's actually ugly, more crap on the front covering Cover Art, just put it on the back like the "PS4 Pro" labelling, it's why those "Boxes" on the back exist to begin with.

Only upside I can think of is that it's a sealed game and it looks like that's a sticker placed on top of the plastic (mentions a Download so I assume it's a game that shipped/printed before the Pro stuff was all mandated/implemented blah blah blah)

Edit: Oh yeah, also worth mentioning that this is on a Physical Copy, something the PS5 Pro doesn't even support out of the box without an additional Disc Drive purchase 😒

Just give me a new/improved/remaster of Rayman 2 The Great Escape already... In an Era of Remasters & Remakes (which I'm generally fine with tbh) Ubisoft, who released and rereleased Rayman 2 for like EVERYTHING available between 1999 to 2013, hasn't bothered to release Rayman 2 on a home console since that Enhanced/Remake on back on PS2 (Rayman Revolution... I guess we could count the PS1 Classic Version on PS3 as well? Whatever)

TLDR: Just give me Rayman 2 on PS5 already, let Night Dive Studios handle it and combine everything/best parts of the PS1 & Dreamcast Versions (like how they handled Powerslave Exhumed for example) at 4k/60fps and with Trophies.

Just give me a Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart sequel already... I'll take a "Rivet & Kit" spin-off even.

While I like Spiderman well enough I couldn't give two Fs about Wolverine or really anything Marvel, especially at this point 🤷‍♂️ Could also bring back Resistance or create a New IP like Naughty Dog and Santa Monica are seemingly doing 🤔

@Tevor To be fair, with the emphasis on (in the headline pic) Atlus and Yakuza specifically that was all that came to mind in the moment, plus it's those franchises that have been doing the lifting for them lately (plus Sonic of course)

I was there for everything you mentioned too and loved it all, Sega has always been one of my favourite Devs/Pubs in the industry in general 👌

Also obligatory "Better be able to turn it off completely" I know where to go if I want to check my friends list and what they're doing, Trophies, Game specific stats are under each specific game etc. etc.

This is basically just a "Rebrand" of the Explore Tab that was NA Only? (I believe? It is actually there whenever I swap over to my NA PSN Account actually) Which is just a big ass advertisement at it's core, that's what they want it to be anyway... I really don't need another permanent Square added to my PS5 Menu... What I would like is to have more Games displayed (kinda like how you could "Unlock" the limit on PS4 so literally EVERY game installed would be displayed in a row on the Home Screen, which never slowed it down btw at least in my case, and I had HUNDREDS of games installed at a time) or even just the ability to "Lock" more than, what?, 5 games to the PS5 Home Screen too (they also need to remove the Wishlist Limit, Xbox and Switch don't have limits afaik)

@BecauseBecause Yeah, I believe that was the case exactly. It was pretty much just more of the same and picked up literally where the original ended (arriving back to the mainland after taking the boat at the end. Like from the "Good Ending" or whatever as I just remembered it had multiple endings actually 😅)

@Tevor It changed when they acquired Atlus honestly 😅 It's been since around 2017 (which saw the launch of Persona 5 in the west and was when Yakuza really kicked off again with Yakuza 0/Kiwami 1 after years of abandonment in the west due to the failure of Yakuza Dead Souls on PS3)

It's also basically been PlayStation and the community for Yakuza/Persona that's been carrying them the whole time (both of which were long running PlayStation Exclusives till like 2/3 years ago)

There was also the direct sequel "The Suffering: Ties That Bind" don't know what the general consensus on that one is (especially among the fanbase) but might as well do both 🤷‍♂️
