@Bizzy Take it easy mate, I think they just mean it would normally be £17.99 on the PS Store... Whether the consumer pays for that or not is up to the consumer.
@get2sammyb Yeah definitely. My point is just that with any argument or discussion, to make a mountain out of a mole hill like this puts the initial argument's validity under scrutiny. So I guess the hoping is that people will not dogpile The Alters just for this. I do understand the whole "slippery slope" concern too though I spose.
This may be unpopular, but I feel like losing our heads over this, which is imo quite a harmless use of AI, might detract from people's very very valid distaste for use of AI in scenarios such as art generation or voice acting?
@Quintumply I've been playing a fair bit and love the core gameplay. I really hope it continues to grow.
My main thoughts on it currently though are that it seems a little under-baked? There are so many little QoL things that I'd always thought were just a given in these sorts of games, e.g. a "Retry" button on the training challenges, or the ability to mute specific players in games rather than everyone or no one. Would you agree? Only asking as I thought it'd be a notable Con
It is an interesting one with a number of factors not favouring Square or FFXVI. FFXV sold better and, while it is still loved by many, that's almost unanimously considered a worse game.
I loved FFXVI, so I can only say I hope more people get to experience it. Sales performance is not always a reliable metric for brilliant games.
This is such perfect timing after that train wreck of a comments thread in the Tekken 8 Clive post where that one guy was calling Ben Starr a bad VA and claiming he's "had no work since" haha. So happy to hear this. I love his work and he seems so passionate about the industry.

Re: Sony Still Working on PSVR2, Full Hand Tracking Tech Is On the Way
I bought mine a few months ago in the sales, and I've been thoroughly impressed with the tech so far.
Great to see there's more to come for the PSVR2!
