I actually like that hacking mini-game, thought it was fun in HR and it's still fun in MD (and better looking). The key is to get the right aguments (like hacking stealth). And if you hate it, you can always use multi-tools (if you can't buy them or find them anywhere just craft them.)
I've got my hands on an early copy and started playing yesterday (after finishing Human Revolution) and after a couple of hours I can safely say that any HR fan will feel right at home here. I love the game so far, the only negative for me is the often lackluster character models and lyp-syncing (really stands out in an otherwise good looking game), which is a direct effect of what you've called post Witcher 3 world. The atmosphere, lore, freedom and all the other factors that make this universe so enthralling are still there.
I know 7 is a good score (despite what the gaming community thinks) but i feel it'll end up as a bit low for this game. Now I know haven't really played the game yet (got my hands on an early copy two days ago, but played it only for a few minutes, I'm still finishing Human Revolution and having a blast with it) but knowing what I know of the previous game and skimming through several other reviews it seems that they've delivered on a "bigger, faster, stronger" type of sequel (at least), with the same attention to detail, and overall vision. The reason why I feel the game will (probably) deserve a higher score is the fact that there aren't many games that deliver on a promise of a story-driven action RPG with empahis on player choice and freedom in approaching various missions. Add in a meticulously crafted world set in a dystopian future (an added plus for people tired of fantasy, or just craving for a good cyberpunk setting) and it turns out Deus Ex stands pretty much on it's own.
It's nice to have all those playable characters, but at the same time it doesn't realy makes sense to see Griffith, Casca or Judeau plowing through hordes of enemies.
@Utena-mobile That's my biggest concern. It looks like they're going through almost the whole manga. That's a lot of material, i hope they do it justice. I've heard they did a pretty good job with it with their anime adaptations (Arslan and Attack on Titan) but this is probably gonna be a bigger challange.
More importantly the "story" section on the official Japanese site clearly shows us (via all the screens) that they will indeed cover most of the story arcs (I'd guess up till the end of the Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc, noting that we can see a screen of Guts riding on Zodd). What got me really exicted was the two screens showing Guts dueling with the Count, which means we'll see at least portions of the Black Swordsman arc (neglected in the new anime), which I personally love.

@Tsurii
Ha! Good one
Re: New Berserk PS4 Screenshots Show Boss Characters in Bloody Action
Love the fact that this game will incorporate sections of the story that were stripped or missing in both the old and the new anime.
