@zupertramp I mean looking over the last 12 months of ps plus and deciding if you think it’s improved over previous months is a fairly simple task to carry out in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Gamer83 what do you want everyone to do? Leave ps plus and not subscribe because of a $20/year price hike??? 😂 and then where do we play our games? Xbox? Where the subscription is even higher???? 😂😂😂

@zupertramp true they didn’t really justify it and that is annoying. But they did say they’re doing it to better games to the service in the future (or something along those lines). So If the service is worse over the next 12 months than previous, it’s definitely worth voicing your concerns to some extent, and maybe even considering leaving the service. But if it’s better over the next year your price is justified and complaining about it would’ve a been a waste of time anyway

@Sequel I only break it down monthly because that is how most people usually break down subscription costs.

Annually it’s a $20 per year for essential which to me sounds equally inoffensive 🤷🏻‍♂️

@PJ5 I doubt it will lose them many subscribers. It’s such a small increase that 90% of ps plus members probably won’t even notice.

@wiiware I think the YouTuber you’re watching is probably using parts he’s unlocked in later chapters and gone back to that boss. You’re absolutely right that beating a boss is about finding the right build. But that will take many attempts to figure that out. The game is very hard trust me! This is coming from someone that has platinumed every fromsoft game apart from dark souls 2. So I’m not shy to playing a difficult game!

@Powerplay94 dude I had a very similar experience with sekiro! Loved it!!! Very very hard at first. But at some point Sekiro really ‘clicked’ and became much easier (was probably the Ashina battle that really did that)

Armored core hasn’t really clicked in the same way. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE it. But I didn’t have a moment where all of a sudden something clicked and the combat became easier to understand. So overall this feels much harder/ more frustrating (at times) than Sekiro.

The other slight gripe I have with AC VI is that there is dialogue during most boss battles. And oh boy you are gonna hear it many many times. Because the fights are so hard you will have to replay them many times and hear the same dialogue over and over…

“I guess you just can’t beat the institute” is one you will hear at least a dozen times.

Overall I think the game is amazing though.

I think you will for sure like it a lot based on what you said about Sekiro.

@wiiware I initially thought Liam was way off with his score. However, now playing it for 70 plus hours I have to agree more with his review. It’s a great game but the high difficulty means this is a hard game to recommend to most people.

I would say a 8 or 9. I initially thought higher but the difficulty will really put a lot of players off

@EvenStephen7 unfortunately it’s just the reality of subscriptions. They WILL have to increase the price every now and then (Microsoft recently did the same with GP)

Expecting the price to stay the same forever is really strange thinking, no?

This is why I don’t use them and just buy my games.

@JB_Whiting it looks amazing, right? The fire/explosions are possibly the best I’ve ever seen in a game. Every time I fire my grenade launcher I get weirdly excited for the massive explosion that’s about to come.

@OmegaStriver the game looks INSANE! Liam’s whole thing of “extremely dull environments” is way off I promise you. Just read any other review. The game looks AMAZING

I have to say I’ve been playing this extensively today (just cleared chapter 1) and I’ve got NO IDEA what game Liam was playing for his review. The game looks STUNNING! The story is really good and the gameplay is so addictive I’ve been replaying every mission after I clear it just to try and improve my mission rank.

@Nem have you played Last Raven? That game tells one of the best stories in any game I’ve ever played. It’s up there with Bioshock for me.

People calling this device a “joke” and an “embarrassment” need to chill out a bit 😅

The real question, which no one is asking or addressing, is: can this connect to ps5 directly (like the vita did with ps4) or is it only through Wi-Fi network (and therefore dependent on your router speed etc)

@LiamCroft fair enough dude. Personally I think this game does something a bit different to every other 3rd person action game and it looks BEAUTIFUL. I think, from what I’ve seen, it deserves a higher score than Forspoken which you also gave a 7

The old AC games got slaughtered by critics and were still some of the best games I’ve ever played. This game has an 88 on metacritic so I’m pretty excited right now.

Shame @LiamCroft didn’t seem to like it. Especially considering that almost every other reviewer out there really enjoyed their time with it.

Not a Mecha fan?? Was maybe expecting Dark Souls/Elden Ring/Bloodborne???
