I own two DS4 controllers and just trade off when one dies. I can only think of twice in the last 6 months I forgot to plug the dead controller in when I grabbed the other. Thankfully the DS4 uses the same charger as my phone, tablet, 3D glasses etc. So I just plugged the DS4 into my phones wall charger which is plugged in right beside my seat on the couch and kept playing.
I was on the fence about this one too. Looked intriguing but I could never come to understand what the game really is. I also bought on the flash sale but haven't given it a try yet. I've been glued to final fantasy X for the last week or two.
If this is in the vein of Stryker and some of the other 2.5D games as they seem to have been dubbed then I'm ecstatic. My favourites were always games like contra and castlevania growing up. So if I can play a game that feels like that but looks brand new youve secured a purchase.
@DaftPlayStation nah man, its called having an opinion and sticking to your guns. If you worked for an independent developer that would make you biased.
@charlesnarles Dont worry you still get to control our beloved caped crusader. There is an article on here somewhere explaining there is a new unknown villain and this is the article revealing his identity.
@SimonAdebisi while I do not know what a twonk is, I will defend to the death your right to use that word.Haha
In all seriousness this guy is clearly looking at one piece of the puzzle and underestimating the potential a peripheral like this could have in a market like this. I think that sony has learned enough lessons along the way with fad technology and gimick accessories that they could have a real winner on their hands here. I may be romanticizing the notion of virtual reality but there is a lot pointing in its favour. I will remain cautiously optimistic that virtual reality has come the distance it should have over the last couple decades.
