Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 Announced as CDPR Promises New Features on Fourth Anniversary

HappyGamerGirl

@anubisvel Same with me, I struggle with first person view because of motion sickness so don't play many. I could cope with Cyberpunk by turning the camera rotation speed down and because a lot of it is outside so can see a horizon, but 3rd person would make it much easier for me!

Loved the game though, so despite being disappointed by lack of Pro patch I'm curious to see what they're announcing later.

Re: Fans Frustrated with Avatar's Disappointing PS5 Pro Patch

@Juanalf What an unpleasant individual 'nessisonett' is! At least I have now been able to test out the ignore function on here for the first time.

And you're right, imo there are a few disappointing patches, a few brilliant one and most of them sit in the middle somewhere. Overall though I'm really enjoying my Pro and it's weird to me that some people derive pleasure from anything negative related to it.

With discounted PSN credit on top of the sale discounts (never mentioned by those sooo eager to rush in on these articles and post physical prices, despite that being totally irrelevant to those of us who are all digital!), some of these prices are decent.

I was tempted by F1 24 with 60% off but want to wait now for next season with Lewis in red!

So far just purchased Metaphor. 😀👍

Re: Hands On: Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy 16, and Metaphor: ReFantazio All Get a Boost on PS5 Pro

HappyGamerGirl

@Weebleman I too am really enjoying my Pro! A number of games I've tried (esp No Man's Sky, F1 24 and Dragon's Dogma 2) are wayyy better than on my old base PS5.

And as for Stellar Blade...well, what I've seen of that has convinced me to put it onto my wishlist, it's a big leap over the PS5. And as the article says, lots of games without specific patches are still better. Had a quick blast on Robocop earlier and it's smoother, holds to 60 better and looks like a higher res due to DRS.

People saying there's 'no difference'.....I simply don't know what to say!! I understand the ones who haven't bought one saying it, for reasons, but those who have bought a Pro and got it hooked up to a decent TV? I know not what to say!

I'll be putting the hours into Dragon's Dogma 2 this weekend. But also some Stardew Valley, on the 1.6 update, just because. Hope we get some more DF/NXGamer content too with more indepth analysis, love that stuff.

Have a great weekend all

Re: Hands On: $700 Later and Dragon's Dogma 2 PS5 Pro Performance Is Still Far from Perfect

HappyGamerGirl

Bit of a weird take imo - game is wayyyy better on Pro, even with RT on the framerate holds up - 60fps almost all the time on balanced, and still within VRR window even on quality.

YMMV of course but on my Sony OLED I've been more than impressed with the improvements! It's not perfect on PC builds costing twice the price but the Pro patch has at least finally made the game experience enjoyable for me.

Re: Out Today: PS5 Pro, the Most Powerful Console Ever

HappyGamerGirl

@Orochilocka You're ok you can still benefit from 40fps modes at least, and yes get an OLED when you can!

Apart from DD2, quick go's on No Man's Sky and F1 24. Both impressive, F1 looks very real with the lighting now. Sony knew what they were doing here - so glad I got a Pro rather than spend the next 3/4 years 'waiting for PS6' with my face pressed up against a metaphorical window looking inside at the goodies!

Re: Poll: Did You Buy a PS5 Pro?

HappyGamerGirl

Pre-ordered on Sony direct and got mine delivered 815am. Really enjoying it! Dragon's Dogma 2 difference is crazy. Got Stellar Blade on my wishlist after seeing the improvements there.

@tinCAT-zero haha, yes I can't be doing with fun sponges so I've made use of the 'ignore' for the few who post negativity on, as you say, every article mentioning a product that they're supposedly not at all interested in! People, huh?

I also spent some time on No Man's Sky and F1 24, but I'm going back to DD2 for the rest of the day. Glad we're all enjoying our Pro's!

Re: Out Today: PS5 Pro, the Most Powerful Console Ever

HappyGamerGirl

@Orochilocka I think the same, glad you are loving it as much as me. Like someone else on here I also bought myself a new Sony OLED few months ago to replace my existing set so I can benefit from 120hz and VRR. Feel very fortunate.

So far it's Dragon's Dogma 2 that has impressed me most as it was so awful on my base PS5 and I loved the first game so much. Now, even with ray tracing on it looks great and holds 60fps. Anyone who has that, DO go back and see for yourself the difference is huge!

Can't wait to try some other stuff over next few days.

Re: Out Today: PS5 Pro, the Most Powerful Console Ever

HappyGamerGirl

Wow! Living up to my username today, DPD dropped my Pro off at 815am and have just popped on to say I'm very very impressed.

Worth every penny (to me) and yes, I'll be buying a PS6 too whenever that appears.

Gaming is good today, now back to Dragon's Dogma 2 (which is sooooo much better now!)

Have fun everyone

Re: PS5 Pro Makes Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Look Like a Whole New Game

HappyGamerGirl

@species It's a shame, I'm very new here but have noticed it myself. it just shows up the worst sides of human nature that I don't enjoy!

Why can't people who aren't even getting a Pro just be happy for all of us who are? Much less stressful for them than sniping and being negative over and over for the sake of it too! No-one likes a fun sponge or a drama llama lol
