@Titntin I couldn't agree more. I enjoy this form of entertainment mainly for the gameplay. If I wanted to be passive, I'd be watching movies on Netflix.
The dungeon crawling in Persona is fun, but Atlus really screwed the pooch with characters prating on and on in never ending cutscenes. Mainline SMT is my jam and Persona can take a hike.
Sony now owns the original Halo and Crash Bandicoot studios, while Microsoft holds the rights to both IPs.
Obviously two opposing strategies, as Sony values the studios' creative talent more, whereas Microsoft figures that they can come up with great games for both IPs just by using new talent.
I've played Nayuta on the PSP and although the framerate was dreadful on that system, the game itself is an absolutely glorious action-rpg. Combat, i.e. gameplay, is so much fun and has that certain Ys flow to it. Can't wait to play a perfect 60 fps port in 2023.
EA marketing schmuck no. 1: Do you reckon the issue with Bioware is the lack of development time or maybe the best creative talent has left the building?
EA marketing schmuck no. 2: Nah, let's just slap a rebrand on it and the games will sell like they used to.
My PS4 will just gather dust until Sony adds external HDD support. It's as simple as that. Meanwhile, Valve will gladly take my money for anything multi-platform.
I've stopped purchasing content for my PS4, because the 400 GByte internal hdd barely allows for 8 games to be installed. So unless Sony prefers to continue shooting themselves in the foot, they better come up with external hdd support. Either way, I don't mind buying new titles on Steam instead.
@naruball Sure I got into 3D Vision a year ago and it's honestly the best thing that ever happened to gaming. Basically, it'll make you never want to pick up a modern game and still play that in 2D.
It's just a shame, the greedy movie industry gave 3D such a bad name and crashed that market with their fake 3D. Unless you're looking at CGI-based movies, they all look like cut out cardboard in various depths, i.e. bad. So the mass market stopped caring about 3D and now it's completely niche and nobody knows how awesome it is, when done right.
Don't waste your time with PS3 3D games either, cause those effects are only depth buffer calculated. Check out the Geforce 3D Vision forums, where pretty much everyone is raving on about how amazing it is.
Most people will sadly never get to play this game the way they should - in Nvidia "3D Vision" on a PC - cause that's a niche market and rather expensive to boot.
I love the "Lord of the Rings" movies, but even those pale in comparison to seeing "Dragon Age Inquisition" in proper 3D. It's actually better than any movie or other form of entertainment media I've ever experienced.
In 2D it's merely a "Game of the Year"-candidate, but if you're willing to fork out for the proper PC-rig and run it in 3D, you won't want to play anything else.

Re: PSP RPGs The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki PS4 Ports Teased by Falcom
Amazing if true... that'd be the 2nd best RPG-related news of the year (right behind Baldur's Gate III)!
I'm currently playing the fan-translation of Zero on PS Vita, but will absolutely buy the official PS4 version on day 1
