@datamonkey yeah I do, and to some extent I may see Nvidia seeing PSSR as a "competitor" at any sorts because at the end of day PSSR is related to AMD hardware and may be really only be benefical for others that are not Huang's "Nvidia Empire", but this really seems just a odd coincidence, GDC just happened and we were always to expect a bunch of updates regarding PC hardware for videogames, including Nvidia.
@datamonkey thinking a new Nvidia GDC annoucement was created to "attempt to take away from the pssr2 launch" is sure a statement lol, really odd comment.
@Lavishturtle I mean, this is not the worst idea, Halo even does that in MCC, but this does not kinda miss the point? I mean, people buy skins(especially in first person) primarily to be seen or show off like that, it would kill one of the main reasons why you have character customization in your game.
Rematch is awesome, and despite SIFU being more my cup of tea, surprisingly, I have found more enjoyment with Rematch than SIFU, Do whatever you want SloClap, you guys ROCK!
@RagnarLothbrok, that we will never know, I sincerely 100% doubt it, especially regarding PC Steam, I have hyped a lot for this one but didn't pick it up because I don't like to play on PS5, if it had come to Steam history would be other...money is money, but it won't buy a consist real fanbase and early adopters that just want to play "the new thing", just a percent of players have "the new Playstation".
Giving my two cents on the topic, I'm happy Square Enix is trying to notice the huge PROBLEM of a franchise once multiplatform moving back to exclusivity. No matter if "it will always sell best on PlayStation", you can't hope to release a AAA exclusive and expect to sell as much as multiplatform ones(especially with these ridiculous sales expectations). Think how many people Xbox/PC players saw ads for this one but didn't get the console to play it? Think about how many sales they lost. Like it or not, Final Fantasy XVI is old news, and people will always focus on looking into the "new shining game". That is biz 1:1 for you.
@Kiefer-Sutherland (huge-fan btw) I doubt this will ever change it would be too big of an effort for them, the best scenario I can think of is if some modders would eventually mod a new texture pack for the PC version like the original for PC.
Funny enough, my biggest complaint with the graphics wasn't the resolution or drop in fame, but actually how the models looked in low lighting, too realistic/weird for my taste, but it really seems like a huge improvement in terms of resolution.
