Since when Sekiro is a secret? LOL I mean I think I got what the title was going for but still it really is a odd one, anyway really excited for this one, seems great.
@Alpine I mean Sony did the same and seems to trying to make "amends" about it, it's never too late, of course they will lose initial sales but other companies(Microsoft included) showed more than once that a quality of a game and its marketing/hype convert much more in better sales than initial FOMO.
@AdamNovice was really eager to try out, but after seem a bunch of complain how the game was not yet finished (like game items with no utilities or dead-ends that did not make sense mid-gameplay) the hype was gone, just saw the dev release a patch last month(after two year it seems) addressing some of the issues I may be inclined to test it now, it is on my steam wishlist.
I think It Takes Two is PERFECT, but Split Fiction has a more "gamey" experience if you know what I mean, its more difficult and more dense gameplay with less reliance on gimmick moments, for me is a close tie, but today I'm feeling Split Fiction is the better one!
@LordOfTurnips hell yeah! Just give me an enhanced PSP Port(unlike that half baked P3portable one) with some QOL and a modern official translation for Eternal Punishment and I Will be in heaven!
@Theamazing1 yeah I cant say about late game I “only” played like 25h and finished the second dungeon, but the beggining was truly a slog(tried Royal years later but despite the enhanced mechanics I quit in the same spot) with it feeling more like a Visual Novel with not much fun gameplay, I know the game is like +100h but it should not take this long to gear up!
@TartarusBlack I have yet to play Persona 3 and 4, they seem to be good games and I have friends that really sing praises for each of them, I have no issues with social links or any other element from modern persona, 5 just had a awful pacing, specially with the “enemy of the week” dynamic, if 1/2 re-releases for Steam I really hope to do a series marathon.
That would be a dream come true, I always have a soft spot for those games because were the first RPGs I ever finished, but always though Persona 5 boring, would be glad to see Atlus giving those classics a new light (specially Persona 2 THE GOAT).
@datamonkey yeah I do, and to some extent I may see Nvidia seeing PSSR as a "competitor" at any sorts because at the end of day PSSR is related to AMD hardware and may be really only be benefical for others that are not Huang's "Nvidia Empire", but this really seems just a odd coincidence, GDC just happened and we were always to expect a bunch of updates regarding PC hardware for videogames, including Nvidia.
@datamonkey thinking a new Nvidia GDC annoucement was created to "attempt to take away from the pssr2 launch" is sure a statement lol, really odd comment.
@Lavishturtle I mean, this is not the worst idea, Halo even does that in MCC, but this does not kinda miss the point? I mean, people buy skins(especially in first person) primarily to be seen or show off like that, it would kill one of the main reasons why you have character customization in your game.
Rematch is awesome, and despite SIFU being more my cup of tea, surprisingly, I have found more enjoyment with Rematch than SIFU, Do whatever you want SloClap, you guys ROCK!
@RagnarLothbrok, that we will never know, I sincerely 100% doubt it, especially regarding PC Steam, I have hyped a lot for this one but didn't pick it up because I don't like to play on PS5, if it had come to Steam history would be other...money is money, but it won't buy a consist real fanbase and early adopters that just want to play "the new thing", just a percent of players have "the new Playstation".
Giving my two cents on the topic, I'm happy Square Enix is trying to notice the huge PROBLEM of a franchise once multiplatform moving back to exclusivity. No matter if "it will always sell best on PlayStation", you can't hope to release a AAA exclusive and expect to sell as much as multiplatform ones(especially with these ridiculous sales expectations). Think how many people Xbox/PC players saw ads for this one but didn't get the console to play it? Think about how many sales they lost. Like it or not, Final Fantasy XVI is old news, and people will always focus on looking into the "new shining game". That is biz 1:1 for you.
@Kiefer-Sutherland (huge-fan btw) I doubt this will ever change it would be too big of an effort for them, the best scenario I can think of is if some modders would eventually mod a new texture pack for the PC version like the original for PC.
Funny enough, my biggest complaint with the graphics wasn't the resolution or drop in fame, but actually how the models looked in low lighting, too realistic/weird for my taste, but it really seems like a huge improvement in terms of resolution.

Yeah I mean they will surely loose some sales but at the end of the day exclusivity is really important isn't it?

@NEStalgia Rebirth does not use UE5.
Re: PS5 Pro Makes Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Look Like a Whole New Game
@Andy22385 ooooooh Sorry for the confusion matte, I mean the game price will be lower as usual haha at least where I live anyways.
Re: PS5 Pro Makes Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Look Like a Whole New Game
@Andy22385 if I get better frame rates that's a total win for me, and even at a lower price? Sucess! I can wait another year to replay it ;D
