With two cultists factions trying to abuse and or kill her using dogs to hunt her down and rip her to shreds if they get hold of her . You talk like ellie randomly walks into crufts or the battersea dogs home in real life and for no apparent reason stared throwing ahand grenades and molotovs at at orphaned puppies.......understand the survivor subject matter of the game ffs!!. Those fictional dogs have been trained to RIP a humans throat out on sight. What do you expect ellie to do, pet them and treat them to bowl of chappie!!!

@FullbringIchigo good point. It boils down to the developer. Take take Dirt 5 for example thats a cross gen game. But codies have already said it will support a 120fps mode on series x. Some developers are willing to put the effort in for crossgen games, and ubisoft clearly are not.

If it sticks at 30fps. Then they best include a raytracing option....... I've got a horrible feeling even Horizon zero dawn 2 will be 30fps plus raytracing.

And now it all falls into place......No bloody wonder microsoft and ubisoft didn't show ANY gameplay of Valhalla in their next "gen gameplay demonstrations " everybody would have destroyed them including digital foundary, for it being 30fps on series x. They knew it would underwhelming people

@RBMango I'm starting to think for base ps4 owners the leap to ps5 will be substantial, but for ps4pro owners cross gen games will look largely the same.........

@RBMango in that case what's the point of upgrading to next gen. My ps4pro can do 4k 30fps already. I'm not paying 500quid for faster load times.

@Grimwood the difference between 60fps and 30-25fps is absolutely HUGE. The witcher 3 for example if you played that at 60fps and then went back to 30fps, then the game appears to be running under water. That's why I cant play the crucible on destiny 2 no more, after playing CodMW it just feels unresponsive and juddery in motion

Naughty dog have juiced every ounce of power from the ps4 here. If that footage was from a ps5 exclusive you Wouldn't be dissapointed.
