I started using PS Remote Play about 4–5 years ago, and I still use it due to the lack of time to sit in front of a TV. That’s when I discovered PX Play, since its Android app allows you to use third-party controllers/gamepads with your smartphone.
Since then, I’ve been using it flawlessly all these years. I also have the PS Portal, but when it comes to portability, I have to say I’d rather just take my phone on vacations along with the GameSir Aileron X4 or the GameSir X5S (which also has rumble and, with the correct configuration, works with PS5 games as well, not just PS4). These are very small gamepads that can easily fit in your pocket.
The developer behind the app is also very attentive to users. He answers emails and helps with problems if you have any. The app is very fast — you can connect to your PS5 in about 15–20 seconds and just start playing.
The PS Portal is good, but PX Play also offers an excellent alternative.

I am glad to know I am not the only one not thrilled with the idea of playing with Atreus....
