Why would anybody buy a console without a disc drive choice is always better than no choice

No wonder they charge so much for the PlayStation 5 Pro if they've wasted that much money, just think they could have made days gone 2 by now

If I can put my old discs in and play the games but I'm not paying for them again when I've already bought them

I picked up Jedi survivor for £16 new but outlaws is still around £50 which I wouldn't pay for a game that needs an online connection to install

People commenting on here that they need an account to play a game when you need an account on here to comment

Just think of the adaptive triggers and the rumble not to mention the sound coming out the speaker as your hacking through enemies with the chainsaw gun

I've always thought the best collection is the one that you own instead of the games that are on a subscription service that can disappear at any time and you lose access to them even if you have paid for a subscription

@Sequel no it's worse than Nintendo you need PlayStation Plus to get money back for buying digital games and you don't get points from physical purchases either like you do with Nintendo games

I got rid of it as soon as they updated the terms and conditions making it even more pointless than it's already was it's just another way to get people to subscribe to PlayStation Plus because that's the only way you earn points unlike Microsoft and Nintendo's reward systems

Maybe you should learn the definition of free before using it in a sentence.

Not getting my hopes up the old rockstar is dead all these clowns care about is how much money they can squeeze out of the fan base with half-ass ports and terrible remasters paid £7 for a mobile version of Liberty City Stories and need to contact customer service every time just so they can activate the game I've purchased

I would love to see it emulate the actual discs even if it has to download the game files and not stream the data from the disk like the Xbox does

They need to spend more time playing to justify the price of that stupid thing

Why do we need a PlayStation 6 let alone a PlayStation 5 pro when this generation hasn't kicked off yet

The first game was one of the worst things I've ever played why anybody give it so much praise I will do not know the combat was basic and boring you're basically just running down a corridor with pretty visuals just tapping a button every now and again thank god it was a short game because it was a slog trying to get to the end

I would rather play the new mafia then Grand Theft Auto rockstar not the same as they used to be and the way they are milking the last Grand Theft Auto game to death they have shown their true colours

I picked it up for £25 I wouldn't have paid more, some of the levels were fun the boss fights I still have PTSD just thinking about them especially that goddam awful final boss and what is it with putting power ups in Sonic games he's already the fastest thing alive just leave it at that.

Shame it doesn't download the game when I put in the disc like the Xbox does

Haven't played any game from this year they're just too expensive now I always wait a year or so for the price to drop and by that time all the patches and updates are usually out as well

Dedicated disc players are not relevant I own thousands of Blu-rays but not a single dedicated Blu-ray player when I have 3 Xbox ones two PlayStation 4 pros a PlayStation 4 two PlayStation 3 and a PlayStation 5 why would I need a dedicated player

It's nice to know all that PlayStation Plus money is going on server infrastructure

How is it free when you need PlayStation Plus

You don't need to play any games on it you want to play games on it to justify the money you've just spent

Get you addicted To The Grind and hopefully you'll spend all your money on micro transactions

@dardel maybe a digital code system like they have with PlayStation 4 game upgrades

@lazarus11 yes but then the TV remote won't work for watching Blu-rays

@AgentGuapo yes I have a Sony TV with Bravia sync so when I turn the Playstation on the TV comes on with it and by the time the TV's turned on I'm lucky if I actually see it

Is it cool yes but it will become less special the more I see it so it's better off not staying forever

Maybe you shouldn't remind gamers of how decent PlayStation used to be and how ***** it is now

Firstly there's the price I wouldn't pay more than £30 for a LEGO game new secondly there aimed at children who don't have PCs they have very little in the way of depth apart from going around smashing things and collecting studs I would rather have physical LEGO sets of the Horizon like the tall neck they have already released

Didn't they say the remastered version was the best way to play it when it came out earlier this year does Sony think people are idiots

@LogicStrikesAgain I don't want things for free I want to own things and be able to play things I already own instead of being nickled and dimed and expected to pay for everything again when the new system comes out, can I stream games I already own no I need a subscription service

Great deal for Sony bad deal for gamers, of course Sony wants you to stream games on PlayStation Plus it's more revenue for them every month as well as the purchase of the portal in the first place heaven forbid you should actually own something

I don't see the problem you just put the disc in the drive and play the game

But the gameplay is the same so what is the point of paying £800 more the Nintendo switch isn't successful because it pushes graphics

Just because it's something costs a lot of money doesn't make it a luxury item and if it's made for the enthusiasts then it would have come with a disk drive

Another reason why digital is not the future getting your account suspended means you can't access anything you have purchased

It has limits if you buy a console with no disc drive

Of course they want to make buying digital games easy because Sony want more control of what you buy and how much you pay for it

I can already play games at 4K 30 fps I don't need an upscaled 4K at 60 fps people that cry about frame rates need to get out more
