Sounds to me like the modern story is now an after thought, the whole point of Assassin's Creed is exploring the past to learn more about what's going to happen in the future and the esu, why not make a game where you get to play in the past and the future in the same location, like in Brotherhood where you got to go to the Colosseum in the present day to find what was hidden in the past

There's already a handheld console that does that it's called the Vita and you can take it anywhere still play the games not tied to an internet connection and actually own the game.

Xbox have always been good at backwards compatibility it's the only place you can play ssx3 in 4k and if they started releasing more older games I would probably get an Xbox but at the moment there is literally no reason to upgrade my Xbox One x

I can already stream digital games I own from the console itself as well as disc a game if it's in the drive but surprise Sony now wants you to pay again to play your same games

@RiverGenie because in the future you won't be able to buy it cheaper because there won't be any any second-hand copies if it's only digital and they can charge whatever price they want usually digital store sale prices are more expensive than physical why people stand up to greedy corporations I do not understand don't you want consumer rights

So Microsoft gets rid of second hand sales by only doing digital so they control the price

Saying it's same price on the Xbox store is just another reason why there should be a physical release I can pick it up for £30 on Xbox physically we don't have that option on PlayStation because of greedy Microsoft they have always hated the second hand market and is slowly getting rid of it and people are not even bothering to fight back anymore

You have to actually go out of your way to break a disc I have discs that are over 30 years old for the mega CD that's still work, a disc drive braking is a limitation of the hardware not the software, there are so many more cons for buying digital a limited release, having to pay more, no trade-in value, losing access to your account, unable to play games even if you have bought them if the server goes down, companies taking that game from your library, takes longer to download a game than it does to install from a disk, only good thing with digital you don't have to get off your fat ass and change your disc.

@nomither6 what happens if you play the new one and feel like checking out the older games which are sometimes better the only way you'll be able to do that is buying them physically

Microsoft had been trying to get rid of the second hand market since the Xbox One launched and there was a huge outcry but now people are coming around to the idea of being ripped off, there is literally no way of playing the older games in the series as they have all been delisted.

@GirlVersusGame you can get it from CeX for around £35 on Xbox never price check anything on Amazon they're always more expensive and sometimes it goes on sale in Argos as well

I can play it on my Xbox One for half that price but Microsoft have got to get some of that money back they spent on Activision

Gamepass literally killed Xbox it's just not sustainable for AAA games even movie streaming services are now adding adverts because they can't afford to keep pumping out content and it's not as if it's quality content most of the time it's just to say look how much original content we have to get you subscribed

You can already play it in 4K at 60 frames a second you're literally paying for a couple of game modes that took a week to program

It really goes to show how far the PlayStation 5 is behind the last Generation when we're still calling new releases next gen when they are actually current gen

What about people that aren't subscribed but we're still affected playing single play games

We need more developers to support the features the dual sense already has let alone support for a mouse

@Czar_Khastik not always reliable what happens if you lose access to your account. Happened to someone I know when someone started charging his card on the PlayStation Store

It's not just about games it's also about getting the best movie experience as well with 4K Blu-rays remember PlayStation movies where you could purchase digital films that's Sony scrapped and now you have no access to including all the films you have purchased

If Sony want to make more money with their exclusive titles they should sell them cheaper then more people would be able to afford them instead of being £70

Will probably get it if it's no more than £30 would have paid more if it had all the DLC but knowing Microsoft they'll try to squeeze every penny they can out of you they got to make the Game Pass lost up somehow
