This was great! I was afraid that motion sickness was guaranteed, but I felt more than fine throughout, and had a frikkin blast at the same time. Thanks heaps to Activision for this.
Has anyone actually had any first hand experience with the pro? I'm curious how noisy it is compared to the original hoover or the more silent running slim
@__Womble9 +1 from me on that - even if the pro could improve the PSVR experience, I would rather get a slim if the pro's noise is equal to the original hardware.
I was wondering, to avoid powering up the processor (and not with HDR in mind), would it work plugging an hdmi splitter into the ps4, connecting it to one hdmi port of the TV (for when you're not using VR) and connecting the other to the processor for when using VR, connecting the processor to a different hdmi port on the TV? And what specifications would the splitter need have?
I agree with the above, VR should not replace an older platform. I'm purchasing VR day one, but would never want to squeeze out these who still are actively using their PS3s and Vitas. (I still own mine, although I rarely use them)
How about adding a VR title every two or three months? Or run a heavily discounted "VR game of the month" type deal?
If it doesn't sound like a harrier jet taking off while running like the current version, and if it doesn't go BEEEEP!! when you turn it on, I'll consider it. Or if my current set croaks. But for those reasons only.

Re: PS4 Firmware Update 4.05 Improves the Quality of System Performance
I just hope my PS4 is stable when Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out, so I'll have somewhere to keep the horses
