Re: PS5 Open World Crimson Desert Gets 7 Minutes of Raw Gameplay, and It Looks Ridiculous

It was good to see some raw combat footage. The other trailers have showed a lot more kind of edited blending of the cinematics and gameplay moments. I'm just hoping that it looks like it's very mechanic heavy in the way in which you traverse and explore the open world, which is what I'm always looking for. It'll be cool to see something that allows you the opportunity to find various ways to sneak into like strongholds or bandit camps (similarly to assassin's Creed) but hopefully with deeper RPG mechanics as far as like leveling and and creating a class build. I know initially they had talked about a co-op mode. I hope that's still a thing as I'd love to be able to enjoy the open world with my brother. Without having to be stuck in an MMO.

Re: Crimson Desert, That Stunning PS5 Open World RPG, Is Actually Playable at Gamescom

@RBMango I'd be worried more about it's legitimacy if the developer Pearl Abyss didn't already have a proven track record on their releases. The visuals for Black Desert still look good, combat is nice and flashy and solid for an MMO, and the open world is still decently sized with a fair amount of things to do. So I'm not too worried about whether or not Crimson Desert is "real game" I'm just curious how deep the mechanics will be.

Re: Forspoken Is Leaking All Over the Place Ahead of Next Week's Release

@Capirdbara I had a lot of the same opinions as you did. I thought the combat and traversal were very well done and enjoyable once you got the hang of them. I also agree with your feeling that many people went in to it with preconceived opinions and didn't give it a "fair" chance. That's no to say that I think the game will be amazing and win a bunch of awards or anything. I don't know I'm intentionally avoiding as much story spoiler as possible so that I can hopefully enjoy it on launch. I hope it's a good game and a fun experience. Playing Elden Ring this last year has gotten me back into RPGs and Single Player Adventure games as I had/have been on a FPS/Survival game obsession for the last few years. I am hoping that's this will be a nice fun engaging open world to explore with a nice "brighter" aesthetic compared to the "Darker" fantasy's I have been playing like Elden Ring and The Witcher 3.

Re: Reaction: The Spotlight Is Now on PS5's Launch Lineup

Anyone else think it's odd how little actual footage there has been of gameplay/games actually running on XBox series X? Because as of now I feel like most of what I have seen even from the third party studios has been running on PC at XBSX settings. But perhaps I'm miss remembering. I know we haven't seen too much from PS5 but at least we have actually seen some gameplay of like Godfall, Ratchet & Clank and Miles Morals. (and the unreal5 demo) But I honestly can't think of any gameplay from XBSX. 🤔

Re: PS Plus May 2020 PS4 Games Announced

Man I didn't believe the "leak" but thought Dark Souls remake would be awesome. But these two games instead is disappointing mostly because it's my b-day month. I mean I actually have skylines on my Steam account so I don't need that game and have no interest in Farming sim. 😑 And last month I already owned both free tiles. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Fml.

Re: PlayStation Plus April 2020 Free PS4 Games Leaked Early

It would be nice if PlayStation offered an alternative if you already own the games they are offering for PS Plus. Good games but since I already have these titles, if I could like take a PS store credit instead that would be amazing. Even if 8t wasn't for the full value of the titles.
