@Dan_ozzzy189 Yawn. If you don't like it, leave it be. Why even bother going into the post to comment? It sold a lot of units, bro. Has to say something for the franchise.
@Boucho11 Yeah, I really like this one too. Could have done with a bit more time in development though, but, covid has to be taken into account. Watch Dogs 1 is still my favourite, though as I liked the more linear format and grim noir-moodiness.
@lacerz Yeah, the stuff I'm hearing about it likely being as challenging as Dark Souls has really put me off this title. My game backlog is substantial, and I have very little free time. I can't devote 'unemployed' amounts of energy to a video game.
Insomniac used a modified version of the "Sunset Overdrive" engine for these Spider-Man games. Boy, would I love a sequel to "Sunset Overdrive" on next-gen. That game was amazing!
I just finished it on PS5, and can reveal that It's basically a DLC for the Spider-Man game sold for £50. The campaign is about a fifth of the size of the original game. And they make you pay for the Spider-Man remaster on top of that cost. Shame on you Sony. Very disappointing.
Well, after the most underwhelming "Maiden" demo, which was mind-numbingly boring and also very average visually, I cancelled my pre-order. I will wait for reviews. The file size of the full game is also very concerning.
@Cikajovazmaj Yes, me too. It's a waste of money. I buy a PS5 and PSNOW subscription, only to find out that I don't get PS5 upgrades as standard? Shockingly bad PR for Sony. They seriously have to get their act together. They could see peoples allegiances shift to other consoles at this rate.
It's a great game, rendered London is spectacular, take a cargo drone over the whole city for a sight-seeing treat, and even hop non the London eye! Oh, and it looks lush and runs at a locked 30fps on PS5. last-gens so-called "30fps" Watch Dogs games ran between 20-30, this is locked @30 and runs really smoothly. I was surprised at how nice it looks in motion, very different from "targeted" 30fps, which generally drops frames all over the place. It's about 35GB of SSD space.
@Col_McCafferty No, in a word. Things are not automatically simple/logical on PS5, as it has quite a few teething flaws. I've had my PS5 download both PS4 and PS5 versions, of a game, taking up huge amounts of SSD space, download only the PS4 version, causing issues where it wouldn't download the PS5 version at all without serious tinkering. Downloading 'sections' of a campaign, with no easy way in sight to download the rest of the campaign. Then there's external hard drives, that's an absolute nightmare too, and I'm talking compatible drives. I have a Series X too, btw. It doesn't have the same exclusive library, but, it also doesn't suffer from any of the infuriating PS5 'broken' issues. I love both consoles, but I find the PS5 really frustrating at times. Not something I expected or wanted from an expensive new piece of hardware.
@Flaming_Kaiser Why?! I think next-gen should have released sooner, not later. About time we had an abundance of games that run with high frame-rates & hi-res textures. Previously PC only features finally on consoles, and definitely NOT before time.
@Max_the_German It's a fantastic game. Quite oldschool in some respects, reminds me of RE & Silent Hill. Nethertheless, it's one of the best games I've played in the last couple of years. Very engaging, gorgeous to look at, and, a blast to play!
I did have this as a day 1 purchase. This generation should be about choice, PC style. If I want to turn down resolution to add frames, that should be an option. I don't see how up-scaled checkerboard 4k with 60fps would not be possible. Ubisoft, make it happen. Seriously considering not buying this game if they don't sort it out.

Re: Returnal's Save System Still Being Investigated, New Content in the Works
Completely new levels would be nice. And an easier option for players like myself who just find it a tad too challenging.

@Boucho11 Okay, I actually liked Wrench, and Aiden too.

Ghost of Tsushima

@fluggy
Yep, I just tried, and, NOTHING!
Anyone got a solution for the PS5 upgrade?!
Re: Watch Dogs Legion's Free Online Update Makes a Connection to PS5, PS4 from 9th March
And not before time. Will give it a blast! ...but, when are the Season pass missions with Aiden Pearce & Wrench gonna be surfacing, though?

Re: Hands On: Balan Wonderworld Is an Unusual PS5, PS4 Platformer That Doesn't Style It Out
If its anything like 'Nights', or, to a lesser extent, 'Billy Hatcher' I may be a wee bit intrigued/interested.
Re: Poll: Have You Experienced PS5 Coil Whine?
My ps5 not only has coil whine, but crashes continually (more than 10 times in one evening) during Dirt 5. Also crashed during astro-bot and Sackboy.
Re: PS5 Coil Whine Could Be Caused by a Loose Sticky Label
My PS5 is indeed making similar noises to that in the video. Not impressed.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 348
@Number09 It's really good, eh? Absolutely loving it!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 348
Watch_Dogs Legion & Little Hope. The first is just immense fun so far, and, the second is pretty good if you liked Until Dawn and the like.
