Alone in the Dark actually seems interesting, but the reviews make it seem like a bad choice. NBA 2k games should not be offered for ps plus essential monthly picks, especially since this isn't the first time they have done this. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, on the other hand, looks pretty cool. I've had it on my wishlist for some time, so it's nice to see it as an offering.
Ark looks beautiful, we'll see about gameplay, Warhammer seems decent, Balatro... is a card game. Kidding, I'm sure people like it for a reason. I'll check it out.
@Darkri74345 The complaint is that some are overpriced, almost no one is saying goods and services should be provided for free. Feedback about problems with products like price is an important function of any market.
Texas chainsaw massacre game looks like a dud. Digimon could be interesting, I liked the show as a kid. As far as robocop goes, was going to get it a while back, but I heard there were some pretty bad bugs on ps5, hopefully fixed by now.
Tmnt game is great but I have it on switch(really fun to play games like this on handheld). Veilguard is too cringe to even bother with. Don't know about this sonic game but we'll see.
@get2sammyb I don't think you're understanding the point Imran was trying to make with that tweet. I'm a fan of the games, I have zero dawn and forbidden west.
The appeal of the games isn't necessary going to translate to other mediums as for many, the reason they like it is because of the concept of hunting machines in a beautiful, post apocalyptic world. Which explains why the attempt to translate the games sucess into lego failed. They don't necessarily like the characters, for example.
Will a movie be able to show enough of what people liked about the games? Maybe🤷♂️.
As an owner of a pc as well as a ps4, there doesn't seem to be a good reason to. Most of the games not available on ps4 listed in these comments are playable on pc.

Re: Study Claims Physical PS5 Games Are 100 Times Worse for the Planet Than Digital Downloads
People need to stop seeing the environment as a zero sum game, there are tradeoffs and degrees of harm that need to be taken into account.

High on life seems like a good choice, was thinking about buying it. Payday 3 is pretty bad from what I hear and pac man seems ok.

Re: Netflix's Horizon Zero Dawn TV Show Reportedly on Ice
They need to stop running IPs into the ground with these cynical cash grabs. That will only happen if people stop watching.
