I get Microsoft's needs to get their big titles back to being exclusives to give the Xbox brand a chance at remaining relevant, but doing so with a game where the PS5 port is already complete is just dumb.
If Microsoft plan on staying relevant in the console market then they will need to keep some games exclusive to give people a reason to buy their next console. But abandoning multi-platforms altogether over the next few years would be foolish given just how much they lag behind Sony and Nintendo. It's going to take some time to rebuild their reputation after two highly disappointing consoles.
This game is right up my alley and the reviews have landed pretty much where I expected them to so I'll probably get this 6-12 months down the line.
@Brawl4002 You're not missing anything. The problem is that people got swept up into the hype that this was going to be a GOTY contender despite that was a completely unrealistic expectation for a studio that has only one so-so game under it's belt before this. That ultimately leads to scores of between 7-8 being deemed disappointing even though it was unrealistic to expect much more than that.

Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?
No doubt the executives and shareholders will go without inflation busting pay rises and massive dividend payouts this year...
