@NoxAeturnus Nobody will buy a laptop with no Wi-Fi. If HP decided to start stripping the network adaptors off their line of 2019 student, family, or other laptops, nobody will have feels for the company and say they are the underdogs of the computer electronics buisness when they only sell hundreds of thousands compared to Apple's millions.
@NoxAeturnus who would by a laptop with no network capabilities in 2018??!! Almost every writing program or app requires online updates and such. A writer in 2018 uses the internet to the full.
Make a list of points to show how "Unique" Nintendo's marketing of the Switch really is.
@NoxAeturnus i was suggesting laced sneakers with laces being sold without them. (Commonly included) ok, slip-ons without the top strap. You choose. Or what about the most recent back lash about the headphone jack on the iPhone?
@NoxAeturnus I have to agree with 3above. He brings out a valid point. Let's say a company that makes shoes, like NIKE, were to release their 2019 line of sneakers without laces or soles. (You had to buy them separate.) How would people react? We aren't asking Nike for voice chat between games or wi-fi enabled shoes because that isn't there line of business. We expect all shoes designers to include and supply what is common for shoes or we won't buy them. Just like other companies do in the clothing industry. NIKE isnt going to be exempt in the public eye. Nintendo doesn't make shoes, they make video game hardware & develop games for that hardware. The standards apply to everyone in the line of business, online gaming, voice chat with friends, and invitational multiplayer. To say they are not required to provide these but still charge the consumer is the same as praising NIKE for making you pay extra for laces. That don't make sense.
@nhSnork if someone says "on the go" one more time when talking about handheld consoles I'm gonna be "on the go" running from the cops after I've murdered them.
@YummyHappyPills Vita had full on AAA games and not ports or watered down versions of existing games only. GRAVITY RUSH, UNCHARTED GOLDEN ABYSS, TEAR AWAY, Not to forget the best version of FIFA 2015, just to name a few. What the heck are you talking about? You apparently were too busy with your Wii U to notice it.
Did anyone here cancel their pre-orders of Breath of The Wild because of serious frame rate issues or lack of online features? I doubt it. Why would anyone think BF2 is over complicated? The learning curve isn't as bad as say, Socom or CoD. Yet every one here seems to give up instantly if a Beta, I repeat, Beta isn't up to some radical standard set in their minds.. ease up. This isn't that serious. Worry about the facts- you wasted $400 plus on the Switch a few months ago and now you're bored of it.
@3Above I whole-heartily agree. Streaming is everything nowadays. A few years ago people hated physical media. Now suddenly, because of collectors who flaunt their retro games collections, everyone has an urge to own physical media again. So why the extra cost? Not only do you have to buy each movie over again but the trouble with upgrading your home theater and sound system ( it is common knowledge once you purchase a new t.v the impulse to upgrade sound is very strong) not only that but here we are again with the rush to upgrade! Just wait.. Have we not learned to pain involved with early adoption? Those who are now laughing it up making their youtube videos showing the "upscaled" 4K videos coming from the Xbox one S, will soon be feeling like Kanye West because of their massive debt. For what!? Upscalling!? Wasn't that a sin back in 2008?
HAHAHA! 20 bucks and my joystick says nobody will hype Titanfall 2 as much as the first one, simply because it was on Xbox. Poor devoted Xnauts didnt have nothing to play but this CoD clone with power armor mods and a few new skins. Those who bought the PS4 don't ever have to worry about not having games. Of course Adam Sessler, we call him 'ob-sessler', loved Titanfall to the point of comparing it a PS4 release at the time, Second Son. That joker out right said it was leaps and bounds better than Infamous: Second Son, a PS4 exclusive with superb voice acting and story. Btw, Titanfall had a ridiculous story, was online only, and graphicly redundant. Rant of the year right here! Lol
@Carl-G you might be more truthful or insightful in this comment than you originally intended. It's a fact that the big suits who run these companies have feuds with each other. (Take for instance Tedder Turner vs. Vincent McMahon as reference. )
There are kids these days that swear Nintendo or microstoft started gaming. I've had pointless conversations with droves who will argue this point to the grave and you can't show any proof otherwise or else they lable you a troll, just to get a mob reaction from the rest of the hive. It's like if I were to walk into my town favorite pub and say out loud; "Michael Jordan created basketball!" You are more than welcome to pick up my belonging and lay me to rest where ever you please after the beating I'd receive.
I've been busy with a little game named, Until Dawn.. I'm shocked and ashamed that nobody is talking more about this game! Support first party greatness, people. Greatness Awaits.

Re: Hands On: Star Wars Battlefront 2 Is a Clumsy, Complicated Sequel
@Octane so if Mario maker was did not have online features or if splattoon was only single player you'd love, wouldn't you?
Re: Hands On: Star Wars Battlefront 2 Is a Clumsy, Complicated Sequel
@Furtin Yeah they can, it is unbalanced. Not enough to make me want to cancel a pre-order.
Re: Hands On: Star Wars Battlefront 2 Is a Clumsy, Complicated Sequel
@Furtin you purchase crates via in game currency won from battles
