Re: Metaphor: ReFantazio (PS5) - Brilliant, Memorable RPG Is One of Atlus' Finest Works

Amadude

Overall, I found Metaphor plays fine on PS5, but since I have the choice, I decided to get it on PC. I can get a solid 4k 60fps smoothness, so if you have a decent rig and don't want to have any issues with stuttering, PC is the way to go for this one.

Until Dawn is actually the opposite right now! I bought it on Steam and had to refund it because it looked like trash, the framerate was horrible, and there was a strange blur thing happening that made the game unplayable. I refunded it and got it on PS5. Though there are some quirks on the PS5 version, it is significantly better looking and smoother than the PC version right now.

Re: Guide: Best Free PS4 Games

Amadude

Realm Royale should be in the top 5. H1Z1 I don't think should be on the list.

Paladins is also one of the best!

Apex Legends is incredible!

Glad to see Let It Die on there. Not too many people know about that one! So brutal!!

I know, I like Hi Rez studios...

Re: Guide: The Best PS4 Racing Games

Amadude

I think that most people are in agreement that:

Driveclub
Wipeout Omega Collection
Gran Turismo Sport

are all at the top of the list and all are playstation exclusives.

I like that these three games are all really different types of racers.

Project Cars 2 is really an amazing racing sim experience and I have found lots of incredibly well balanced races that are challenging and rewarding when I get first! The car customization is really deep and the single player content is endless.

Project Cars 2 and GT Sport are two different types of sim racers and I love them both for very different reasons. If we continue to get this stream of free update content for GT Sport it will easily top the list as my favorite racer ever. We just need to get the GT original tracks back (man would I love to see Trial Mountain or Deep Forest in beautiful PS4 rendering!! Also, Cape Ring is another fav!).

Re: New Burnout Paradise Remastered Trailer Heightens the Hype Ahead of Launch

Amadude

I think these remasters start off on too high of a price point, but makes since from the developer/Sony's perspective since there will be inevitable price drops.

I find I have to out weigh time over money. Do I need to play Burnout Paradise on my PS4 when I already have it and all DLC on my PS3? Probably not. Am I going to buy it eventually when it drops to 50% off or more?

Of course!

Re: Talking Point: What Free March 2018 PS Plus Games Do You Want?

Amadude

It would be nice if they threw us a PS2 game on PS4 from time to time.

Speaking of which, why are these games not coming out weekly??

Is it so they can remaster every single game in the PS library?

Even still, I think people would buy the original Shadow of the Colossus as a PS2 Classic even if they already have the remastered version.

Re: Hands On: Monster Hunter: World Is Shaping Up to Be Something Very, Very Special on PS4

Amadude

I have also been really impressed with the Beta!!

The maps are super full with life and things to collect!!

I'm really looking forward to the full release when we can customize, loot, and progress our characters to our heart's content.

I've loved all of the Monster Hunter games on the 3ds but this entry seems to be a step in a better direction!!

What a great time to own a PS4!

Welcome back to Playstation Monster Hunter!!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 197

Amadude

GT Sport, I've been pretty obsessed with this game. Like everyone else I was not thrilled with the lack of content at launch, but with more single player content and cars on the way I have been really into it!

The free car everytime you complete a daily workout, about 5 to 6 normal races, really keeps me playing frequently.

I just really hope they add more tracks, and in particular, original circuits from previous games!

Re: Review: Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (PS4)

Amadude

First off, let me say that I am a die hard fan of Marvel vs Capcom 2. I played it endlessly on the PS2 and Dreamcast, and play the PS3 version regularly still. It is my favorite fighting game besides Smash Bros.

I totally get the problems that people are having with MvC Infinite. Yes, the character roster is small. Yes they didn't include Wolverine . Yes the Story mode is just a bunch of brief dialogue and action placed between "what if" fights.

However, I feel that this installment of the franchise may be one of the best balanced. This mean it may also be the best for competitive play.

In addition, this installment does not have a ton of clone characters like previous outings of the game have had. No War Machine basically means no Iron Man Clone. Though I love Akuma and Ken, no Ryu clones. etc...

They did miss the mark on some characters that SHOULD have been in it from the start. Where is M Bison? Also, I always love playing as Gambit in MvC 2!!
