Oh well. As I've said before, if it's all on the discs and especially if it's 2 discs, I will buy it physically. If it's just a disc with 10-20GB on accompanied by a 100GB download, I'll simply have it from my friends download and play it for free.
I have Lies of P physical. Don't have Plus and clearly I have no reason to renew this month but if you do have Plus and you haven't played Lies of P, PLAY IT!
Didn't realise it was out. Had a look on PS Store and it's sitting at a score of 3.82. Anything below 4 is usually a miss for me. Working full time creates one hell of a backlog. And this is what makes it hard for companies because even if a game is top tier, I still may not get it due to the fact that a previous top tier game from say, last year that I've yet to play is now half price.
Got 2 of my workmates to get it. One of them is 40 and is down for anything. The other guy is 17 and swore down he'd never touch turn based games. Well now he loves it.
As somebody who's last day one purchase was Final Fantasy Rebirth, I got hold of a physical PS5 copy today and I've gotta say if any company is deserving of a full price purchase, it's these guys. The fact it was £42 was even better. Hopefully other companies learn from this.
3 million sales in the first week on a console that had sold 30-40 million units. Yeah, not a failure. I remember the media kept shouting about this 'failure' nonsense as soon as Square mentioned it wasn't doing as well as what they liked. I will say just play it, it's good. Nothing life changing but it's so much better than most games out there. It's got some damn epic battles and the music in top tier. I don't have a lot of time with work so I have to pick and choose what to play but I am glad that XVI was one of them.
In my older age, the days of owning the Limited Collectors Deluxe Special Needs editions of games are long behind me but this one definitely has me tempted.
Bigger games? Didn't the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster sell over 5 million units? And although a physical version exists, it's very hard to come by. If they can't see what people want, then maybe it's for the best that they fade away.
I remember Resistance Fall of Man was one of the few games that actually had online at the time and because of that, it had a LOT of people playing online. The laughs we all had from that game from random angry people will never be forgotten.
I really want this to be a great game but after Starfield, I'm not getting my hopes up. Also, why shadow drop what is possibly one of the best games of it's generation? It makes me wonder if Bethesda aren't proud of it and they just want to get it out of the door.
I remember being hooked on Gears of War while at my friends house on his 360 whilst I had a PS3. And Microsoft Flight Simulator will probably be what tips me over the edge into getting a VR2
I remember everyone on my friends list and my 3 or 4 real world friends constantly complaining about it, and I'm just there enjoying every moment, spending hours upon hours in it. I remember one of my friends saying the XBox version was superior because it came on 4 discs which made it similar to the PS1 Final Fantasy games.
What made me say no to purchasing was lack of games that fully utilized the VR genre, then the huge price tag on top of a already expensive console which the VR headset was trapped on. No PC support. Also, it wasn't possible to play PSVR1 games (not that I had a huge selection anyway).

Re: Creepy Viral Hit POOLS Takes the Plunge on PS5 in November, Playable Demo Out Now
I'm very much looking forward to this. It's gotten a bit ridiculous now as to the amount of junk games on the PS Store in this category of gaming.

Re: UK's Death Stranding 2 PS5 Physical Sales Displace Mario Kart World, But Down 66% Compared to Predecessor
Last I checked on the PS Store, it's sitting at 4.94 out of 5. I've never seen a game that high. Makes me tempted to sit down and play the first one.

Re: Ex-PlayStation Boss Says Sony 'Can't Get Away' with a PS6 That Has No Disc Drive
The only reason I would be getting one with a disc drive is because of the massive physical collection of PS4 and PS5 games. Mostly PS4.
