Discs are truly bad for the environment + passing a game disc to your friend screws over the dev, list goes on. Why support a tiny 'collector' niche that hurts the industry?
Sony and PS5 will be fine regardless, where else are serious console gamers going to go right now?? They have no real competition, this is why they are kicking back.
First game "widely regarded among the pinnacle of the genre" 😂😂 no it isn't. It got 6's and 7's upon release, the director himself has said that the game was too long. I beat it to see what all the fuss is about and the trophy rarity of finishing the game currently stands at 15.4%, so the other 85% of PS players (vast majority) couldn't have been too thrilled with it either otherwise they would have kept playing.
Silent Hill 2 and AW2 devs have promised to fix their problematic PS5 Pro implementation for ages, will this PSSR2 upgrade mean those 'shimmering' visual issues just go away or do we still have to wait for additional dev patches?

Leaks are always going to happen but to give it coverage is a choice.
